    SDc Comparison Pics

There are already SDc and Subc comparison pics in an existing thread. But here are a few quick and dirty (literally the watches are filthy) comparisons with the SD/DSSD/Pelagos.

Note iPhone and key rap photographer :)

This was meant to give folk an idea of sizes and not to discuss 'end link gate' or the RRP. Evidently I liked it enough to buy one, it's all personal opinion but I don't really care for any negativity :)

Cool I like it, and a comparison of sizes is helpful, Thanks for posting.

    :)

If I had the money I would buy one. It looks really nice

Great comparison shots. Thanks for taking the time to post them. I'm sure they'll be very helpful to people contemplating one.

    Great info.
Actually the Pelagos gives a good account of itself in this company.

Funny, in the pics the difference between them doesn't seem all that great.

In the flesh, I found the SDc was MUCH smaller than the DSSD. I still think the DSSD is the best Rolex dive watch ever.

Very good to see them all side by side. Wondering if I would rather have a DSSD to go with my 16660, a bit more difference.

Looking at your pictures, it's made me decide I want one.
Please could you let me know does the SDc have the same clasp as the SUB c?

    Thanks in advance

Really great thread! Thanks for the photos.
Owning none of the above at present I still cant decide if I'd rather have an 16600 or the new SDc.
They actually look more different than I thought they would, and I really like them both! (Doubt I'd be able to justify that though).
Will have to try them both on I guess once I have the funds available......

From the pictures, it looks like the SD400 has a thinner bracelet than the SD. Is that the case?

the more often i see it, the more often i think the deepsea is the best looking rolex diver. i keep telling myself that the ringlock text is rubbish looking but actually, i think im just trying to make excuses for being too poor to buy one!

    Thanks for the pics.
Am liking whatever,I am seeing of the new SD. Will have to check the bracelet overhang in person but dont think will be a deal breaker.

The bracelet overhang isn't a issue on my DSSD you never really notice it

I have never been a fan of the DSSD on the wrist so for me it's nice to see that IMHO the new SDc is more similar to the earlier SD than I expected.

Nice job - and avoids the question of whether the DSSD becomes obsolete to boot as it's quite a different beast!

Oh, and nice collection there. The Tudor wouldn't be my first choice from that lot but it does hold its own.

This has just reminded me of how nice the pelagos is, and how I must get one soon. Thanks!

I like the thicker lugs and 60 minute marked bezel over the 16600...

But can't see the magic over the Deepsea, which is, well, magic!

Really useful post, thanks. I'm about to push the button on a Pelagos and this gives me just the reference points I need.

I'm afraid I'm not feeling overwhelmed by the SDc so far, and the more I see it the more I like the DSSD. Very excited about getting a Pelagos now!

Looks very wearable indeed, thanks for taking the time to share those. It's impossible to improve on the case shape of the original 4- and 5-digit references, but the new case doesn't seem caricatured in comparison and looks good in its own right.

Just curious about whether the mid-case on the new Sea-Dweller is slightly thicker than the 16600; it looks to be in the photos.

When looking at those comparison scans it makes me think the Deepsea is underpriced for what it is and should be nudging closer to £10k given the research and development that went into its creation. Having said that it most probably will be after a price rise.
