Amazing way to use scrap parts, so detailed. Love the two headed crawling thing!

How much do these things cost? Justin Gershenson-Gates' own website isn't much help.

Looks like the sculptures are about £150. Necklace and other bits £25-50 ish. Very cool stuff.

Yes, this is the page I saw, but it doesn't include any of the more complex pieces the OP found.

They do a similar thing in Thailand but with old engine parts. I had a cracking predator model which was about 18" high and weighed about 20lbs

Sorry, see what you mean now. It says somewhere on his site that there is less in his store at the moment due to unusually high demand.... Shows what a bit of editorial can do for you!!

An interesting mod but it does make it difficult to tell the time at a glance?
Also I think it would render the warranty void?
.....just saying is all.....I'll be on my way now.....

I appreciate the effort, the patience and the skill involved into making these, but I cannot get the model boats made of matches, my dad use to have in the living room out of my head, when I see this. A horrible thing!

Sorry......I'll go jump of the bridge....

Pretty cool, the artist certainly has a talent.

Although looking at the models I was kinda expecting to see the sword hands from a milsub, or the dial of a vintage Patek. I sure hope this artist knows his watches and will not cut up anything put in front of him.

Please God let someone find Buzz Aldrins Speedmaster and John Harrisons H6 before this guy gets his hands on them!
