    Looks like a fake...

    Relax, it's a joke.

I've never been a fan of Panda dials, that works for me though, I really like the bracelet in particular.

I have always liked the 2100 Calibre, they tend to go from £100 - £200 on eBay depending on condition ect, i bough a tatty one a couple of years ago but sold it as it was a bit too scruffy, this one is mint and i got it for £92... Bargain!😊

Bracelet is captive, but it looks very well made. The reverse view of that clasp caught my eye, too; not seen a milled clasp on anything Japanese before, unless it was on an Ananta - they're mostly stamped.

I also like the engine turning on the dial, not so keen on the power reserve dial at the top, must be because I'm so conventional :)
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!

You know you want to - go on! You cant be a watch enthusiast until you have owned a moon watch, or some variation thereof.

That's pish and you know it!

Besides, I can't afford one right now. Maybe on some level I'm convincing myself I don't want one so I can stay sane and keep spending my money on my mortgage and food for my kids!

Often considered one of these. If you wanted one, all round watch, I think this would be it.

Yes, theres no swopping Straps on this Baby, but like you say the Bracelet is that well made it's no big deal, the only thing i would change is the Crystal, these should have come with Sapphire rather than Mineral, i believe the American models do!

Very nice, seen this model before, if i'm not mistaken i think the ones with Sapphire have a deeper pattern on the case back?

American ones are etched case backs and mineral glass, European ones are sapphire and a raised relief (like embossed wallpaper), not unlike what Ball do on theirs (at least the Hydrocarbons anyway).

And then there's the JDM ones which have Titanium written in the 6 o'clock position sub-dial, rather than above it – and they do cost more, if you're lucky to get hold of one.

I'm half tempted to see if that NOS blue one I tracked down last year is still available, but I feel I've move on since then.

    Aye!

My favourite Citizen is still Ti, still with a 'proper' engraved case back, sapphire, but no chrono and perfectly sized at 41mm...

They were the words i was looking for.. Etched and embossed lol..thought it was the ones from the states, so it's the european ones that have the better spec!

Yup, I've got one. Bought it in the states while on holiday some years ago, I thought I needed a chrono. Mines titanium and feels featherweight for such a big watch. It's got the etched case back, and (scratched) mineral crystal.

I have the exact same and love it!

Used to have it in the past along with the titanium version with grey dial. Sold both of them, but recently I purchased this one again, cause I missed it very much. Also, this is the watch my girlfriend likes best in my collection of watches.

If you're honestly interested, you might fancy this

I also believe the Chronomaster is the best there is in their current? offering.

I'd love to see more Citizen and Seiko here on the Forums, they are really great watches.

I think/hope he was joking. I have a Speedy but don't see how having one could possibly be a necessary prerequisite for Wis'dom and if it is then I congratulate Omega for the great marketing coup.

I love these Citizens and their Seiko compatriots. In the end of the day a watch has to be accurate and look good - these fulfil both of those criteria.

It is a JDM Citizen PDM56-2951, there is also a black bezel/faced 2952 which you can search and find in this forum (Simonsev has one). I don't know if it is a current model any more, the main issue people have a problem with is the radio (or lack of) in this country. However it is accurate to 5/6 seconds over 6 months so I don't know what the problem is!

The RC only works in Japan or a limited amount of countries. It doesn't work in the UK, and this puts off a lot of people as they don't want to miss out in a 'feature'! I just ignore it and let it be, adjusting it every 6 months as the hour changes. It is never more than a few seconds wrong.

Its as light as a feather and with its perpetual calender it is a lovely watch, I would consider owning the black version, it is that good...

I also have one JDM model with Japan localized RC feature...
It bothered me a little in the beginning, but now I don't care :)
