Thank you, will give a group shot a go sometime!

Sorry to dissapoint but the camera is my iphone 6, haven't used a 'real' camera since 2012.

My modded SRP777 from SC arrived this morning, so I thought I would add my little group to the thread as it stands today.

This is an SKX with a cerakote black coating and new hands, CT sapphire, new dial, date wheel, chapter ring, and bezel insert. Whew! I actually sold this last winter but miss it. I needed cash for a Sinn I could not pass up. I paid about $200 from an ebay seller and then added the crystal later. Not too bad. It could have used a new movement but was about 15 spd off is all. Still the movement was old.

    This arrived today:

And it has been added to my Seiko's family, which currently is this:

along with my late father's Seiko:

So, I'm quite happy that my Seikos family is expanding. Apologies for the crappy pictures.

(by the way photobucket changed their policy yesterday and now I can not post photos, unless I pay them 399$ per year, don't know if their site was hacked of something, but this is what their asking for, without even a prior notice. So, after more than 10 years, I'm leaving their web site and shame of them and they will probably run out of business if they keep this policy....)

It's a soft leather strap I found at my local jewellers.
For the price, the quality is incredible! It is the smallest watch I own so I am still getting use to it.

My latest arrival, a SARX033. Very impressed so far. Amazingly hard to catch in pictures. A few things stand out:

-crystal is superb. Hardly any reflections and the dial is clear from almost all angles. Like there is no crystal.

-hands. The blue is only seen from the right a angle. Most shots capture this but mostly dark hands that sometimes show their blue colour.

-lugs: tilting inward towards the bracelet. Makes it all fit.

-dial: wry white with a small hint of what is almost an oily texture. Hard to explain. Not plain white.

And overall fit and finish, amazing.....

This is a slim case 6309-7290 that has had Tiger John's TST conversion and modified using all genuine Seiko parts. So I bought an NOS 7C46-7008 (non SQ) dial, a set of SBDX012 LE gold hands, and an NOS 6159-7001 second hand, finished off with an SKX011 bezel and a 6105 crystal.

So here it is looking lovely now, a 6309-7290 TST assembled with only genuine Seiko parts.
