Bought this Brand New from an A.D.
Was just happy that they had One (and only 10 miles away), then at the till they said 'Do you know there's 20% off today' and knocked it off the price !
    Superb for the Money.
Bezel clicks and weight of the Bracelet give the price away.

Just sourced a bracelet for my 7T32-6A5A. This was the first watch I bought myself in 1989. Cost me £99 if I recall correctly.

Everything still works perfectly - and despite the all plastic geartrain - I still smile when the mini alarm hands whizz round!

The dial at 6 houses a completely separate watch as such - a full on 2nd time zone - with alarm functions.

They don't make em thin like this any more!

Bracelet is different to the original I think (the old one had 5 elements per link I think).. but this was all I could find and it looks great.

No, it's very new. It's a very good clean/original example, very hard to find. There is some minor discolouration to the hour marks and lume but I've seen much much worse. Plus it shows it's age.

You can't put "stealth" posts in the threads which you do have access to, either.

I think you found a fantastic example and I know they are hard to come by.

It's all about originality for me.
Here's my original/ clean 6105 that I was lucky to get hold of.

It came from a JimW, who is a fantastic bloke and has an unbelievable collection. He bought it from a collector in Thailand. It is an absolute beauty but so is yours.

Look forward to seeing your posts.

This 6105-8110 has never been refinished or polished in any way. It is totally original.
I did pay a lot of money for it. I have several (well, more than several actually) original 6105's and I think this is one of the best in the world.

What's the size limit on photos here? I'm on a decent monitor, but most of these are bigger than my entire screen!

Not to say Seiko is without fault. Sometimes their design choices are confounding, and their "all things to all people" business model guarantees they sell some junk no serious collector will touch. But in the category of low- to mid-range automatics like most of the watches you see posted here, they're hard to beat. And at the higher end, it's arguable that Grand Seikos are a better built and better value alternative to Rolex.
    This.

It doesn't matter how high I have reached with much more expensive brands, the fact is, I've always got just as much pleasure from something like a Seiko as I have, say, a Rolex. For me it's about appreciation at all levels. So many WIS get this nowadays. It's great to see :-)

That is glorious - haven't seen a clean one of those for years. My uncle has one, but it was his daily wearer for about 30 years, so it shows it's age now.

Seiko for sure has benefited from the licencing of the logo.

It has become overwhelming to me for the nos of new models that come with the PADI logo, so I think I will just keep one unless the 6105 reissue.

Share your PADI and does the logo matter in your purchase?

Cheers, I used to think the same but Seiko has never done well with their stock photos so I reckon I'd have to take a look at their new pieces in the flesh.

I do like the flashes of red against the main colour of blue, in line with the PADI branding.
