I am a big Silverwave fan. I just love 'em. These were the first 'scuba' type watches from Seiko and are the predecessors of the 62mas introduced in 1965. To me the Silverwaves are every bit as important as the 62mas and 6105's that followed.
Here's a 1963 50m Silverwave..... It has the sunburst dial making it almost impossible to tell the time:

First off, my current Sportura trio. The Honda F1 is a brand new arrival, the yellow/black model was bought by accident and now back on e.bay (wanted the lime green one).
A handful of 7t32 chronographs. I've sold a few, traded some others but these superb little 4 button chrono's will always have a place in the collection in some form.
A pair of Seiko Boss Kinetics - black is now sold and the white one is probably on the way out...though I am in talks to buy an Orange one!!!
Another newish one in, silver dial Arctura Kinetic. The third one of these I've had! Lovely looking watch, just awkward.
I've a few other kinetic divers, but here is an absolute fave and one bought from this very forum! New glass fitted, running like a dream;
I could keep going all day, I have about 30 Seikos at the moment, but those are the pick of the bunch.
Oh, and a Pogue on the way - my first one (never been a huge fan to be honest) so watch this space.

I've had a couple of monsters for a short time over the years and always ended up flipping them quickly. This one stuck around.
Looking to get a saphire for it because there are a few scratches on the hardlex.
The SBDN013 is smaller than the SKX007 (39mm I think) but a much better watch IMO ... I've had two SKX007 which look great on a screen but haven't been that impressive in real life.
The SBDN013 is solar quartz so will keep time if it is only worn for weekends and holidays, the crown action is much smoother than the SKX007, the movement can be hacked unlike the SKX007, the titanium makes it nice and light, and it has a diver extension.
I cant agree its a much better watch but it is nice

I'm starting to really like some of these watches in this thread. I find my taste changes over time anyway. I ended up ordering a watch off the back of another thread a few weeks ago and here are a few pics. The blue and gold work soooo well together in the light. Love it!
