I’m terrible with group shots but will keep the idea in mind and time permitting I might give it a go tomorrow (no guarantees).

Dressy = enough, vintage-vibe = enough, casual = enough, quality = enough, value for money = more than enough. Yes, I like it lots.

I'm torn, sold my GS, but would like a cheaper Seiko for 'smarter' occasions. One of these, or one of the new cocktail time models (thinking the brown dial and rose gold version)?

No. It's the bracelet it comes with. Albeit it is very similar.

Thanks. Looks like the perfect hybrid of the SARB035 and the original Cocktail Time. Love it.

I've just ordered one of these new as I missed one in SC. I've also ordered a navy blue strap from crater blue which I am hoping will suit it. Great looking watch.

I thought it would be obvious too, but side by side its difficult. The dial on the solar chrono is really something..

Received last Friday from the sc. Resized the bracelet, fit is spot on and super comfy. This bracelet gets a lot of stick, it does feel flimsy off the wrist, but works perfectly when worn, bit like the much maligned jubilee on the skx's. This was gaining about 2 minutes a day, but demagnetized it this morning and it hasn't gained a second in 3 hours, so fingers crossed. I always regretted selling my last mm300, one of many watches that go through a serial flippers fingers, but the only real regret to date. So pleased I nabbed this.

I often drool over this thread, some lovely watches on display. Hopefully a recent Boctok purchase will stem my need for a turtle for at least a month or so! 😎

The mod was not done by me so I am not 100% sure Jase.
The insert used to be more gilt when I bought it many years ago but has faded towards a ss look over time...
