I just re dived this today - now with better bezel and official shroud (was fitted with an am one)
I'm putting together a 'beater' from parts (in mods and wrecks)- I'm really pleased with this - December '95 I believe(it'll be 21 this year)
Ahhh...! Very cool. Thanks for the info... and enjoy the watch!

Can tell this forum is going to end up costing me a ££!!

Browsing through here and spotted a few of you guys with the Seiko Pepsi.... So I've ordered one, looking forward to receiving it. First Seiko, now to find some alternative straps.

Well, it's not a watch, but it is a very cool alarm clock with quiet sweeping seconds hand and a digital stopwatch plus countdown alarm.
Managed to grab mine for a tad under a tenner in a local shop.

One wonders why you need a stopwatch by the bedside, but then perhaps it's better not to know.

    Lol ;-)

Agreed, I got it as a desk clock for work, where the chrono will be of use.

A couple of weeks ago, I made a late night impulse buy on eBay - and finally managed to fill a niggling void in my collection. A fairly decent, well cared for, used example of the 7A38-705A SAA027J, which in today's market came at a comparative knockdown price.

Here with it's more commonly found sibling, the 7A38-7050 SAA025J (Both models from March 1984)

I don't believe I've seen either of those versions. Both appeal.

I know the new model Tuna is unloved by some, but I'm loving my new arrival! Lots of nice new details I think.

Well even if it's unloved by some, I really like the new hands - wouldn't mind the new version of the Darth with them :)

I'll add my SUN021 kinetic GMT to the list. Bought it as my 'travelling to places with no internet' watch - reliable, robust, great lume and gives me home time zone for when I'm told to keep in touch with the office ;)

Not had a Seiko for a while but have now got an SBBN015. I've had a couple of Tunas but this is my favourite model to date. It's having a sapphire crystal fitted next week.

Could I ask who is fitting the sapphire crystal and how much it costs?
    Thanks

This SBBN019 became mine yesterday, completely unplanned.

Must admit I was very sceptical initially but after a day of wearing it has completely won me over, love the oddness of the white shroud.

You are right. The strap's ends are curved. Look details in your p.m.
