Both the 62MAS and the 450 are pretty special
On the subject of the 62MAS
You wait ages to see one and then the forum is awash with them (ok maybe not awash but there have been a few posted including on SC recently)

    Superb Jim.
Give me a shout if this will be following your other 62MAS’s onto SC!

Previous pic is a rare Daini produced 62mas made in very small numbers in 1967.
Note the beige colour lume of the Daini version.

Below is the more plentiful Suwa produced 62mas, also produced in 1967.

    ... and a patinated 5719 (45899) from August 64 on original bracelet

You most often see these bracelets on World Time 6217-7000s but since they're a bugger to resize and the clasp isn't even signed, many will have been discarded over the years. The 5719 one has 18mm lug width, so it's a bracelet I've never seen elsewhere.

I’m not the biggest fan of world time watches but that one’s bloody lovely.

Found this 8122-8000 on the beach today. A 27 serial number means some poor bugger has lost it after 30 or even 40 years of use. Looks like it’s been in the sea for a while and water has entered.

    Thanks.

The Dolphin grey dial with blue bezel insert, second hand and 300m lettering is an interesting design.

Is that a Japanese home market model? I know that Seiko did some nice boys sized mini divers in the late 70's and early 80's in a similar vein to Tudor's Mini Sub.

I never knew this version existed. Possibly the best looking MM300. I would like to see some ‘real life pictures if possible’

    It’s a 2625 0010 and yeh it’s a ladies/ boys version - I’m not sure it was JDM only though

I've owned a few mm300's. Way too many since 2000. This is in a league of its own.

    Here you go....

    Cheers that is nice
I could be persuaded to get rid of my 001 for that.

    Enjoy

Having owned several SBDX001's and this 045 then I can see why, but that would be a tough decision though. The SLA045 is a rare model but nice SBDX001's are not that common these days.

Timed over 6 days and running at 0.67 seconds per day. Seems like I got lucky with this one😁

Finally got Seiko to replace the battery. Lovely little SBGF017 I got from a Japanese auction site a few years ago. It felt very small then but now it’s coming back into style.

Looks lovely. How quickly did Seiko do the battery change? I need to take my GS in.

Was through the Seiko boutique in Amsterdam. Took about 3 weeks. Maybe less. They do the service in Rotterdam, so it doesn’t have to go far.

I love the Dani Lume. My Navigator is a Dani made watch and the lume makes all the difference over the Suwa.

Thank you! I’ve been on the hunt for one for about 6 years now.

I was fortunate to find that one on Yahoo Auctions Japan, a couple of weeks back.
