I got this nice SARB017 Alpinist on a bracelet for Christmas. It doesn't get worn often though as it needs the right attire to pull it off usually. I need to buy more green/brown clothes!

Seiko H558 5000 repair update. Bad news. While my watchmaker could get the analog running, he couldn't get the digital to work. Bummer.

That's a shame, but at least you can tell the time with it!

I'm no great fan of green watches, but that is a pleasing design of watch.

My wonderful Marinemaster 300 SBDX001 which is now on a Crafter Blue fitted strap with a titanium clasp I happened across. All set for summer.

Love this watch and a keeper for me.

Mine's from the mid-late 80's and took a right ol' beating in my job at the time. I think it still works, I removed the battery years ago in case it leaked so I'll have to find out what type it needs. The main problem is with the crown, it wore down and fell off so there's just a tiny nub screwed in to the stem, I have no idea where to source a new one.

Oh yeah, are we allowed to post other brands of watches that are using Seiko movements? I have a couple of old Pulsar chrono's, too.

    It takes a 399
How's this for the full set- inc receipt £79.99 in 1997

LE 'Urushi' SARX029. it's all about the strap with the two gold stitches for me. The hand applied Urushi finish is so glossy and so black it's like staring into a pool of oil. Very cool Seiko.

My 6306-7001. Love wearing it, not overly sure about the bracelet, may have to treat myself to a rubber strap.

    That's a looker Gavin!...
I always think of the 6306 as a 'better' 6309. a lovely watch.
    I often wear a 6306-7001 on a bracelet too.

I'm wearing this Grand Seiko SBGM009 GMT today.
I bought it from a Tokyo dealer about 8 or 9 years ago and wear it so much it has become a beater!

One of my favourite Seiko's and favourite watches in the collection so far, SARG005. I think it's how the dial has a slight pearl effect when you catch it in a certain light which you never pick up in a picture.

That's superb! What decade is this one from and is that little vent to the right of the dial a depth gauge...

Found this "Tropic" style silicone strap in my "carrier bag of surprises", AKA bottom drawer strap collection; stuck it on the MM300...
    [IMG][/IMG]

It could do with an 18mm Seiko buckle to finish it off really...

They are early/mid 90's and often referred to as the worlds first dive computers.
The vent/membrane on the right is indeed to enable depth measurement as I understand it.

There is a more common ss version, the M726.

Also have one of those in a well worn condition,

Somewhat of a marmite design I guess but I like them a lot.
