I've got a few hacks in mind - and with the offer it's worth trying out. I once bought something called shoe goo in the states which turned out to be a very useful fix-up thing. It extended the life on a favourite pair of boots which I wrecked kick starting the bike.

    Cheers for tip off...

I remember shoe goo, I used it to patch up the sole in a pair of trainers...worked great.

I may be totally wrong here and have not tried it myself yet! BUT I have heard you can make SUGRU by mixing silicone and corn flour so there you go, Who"s first???
