    Stunning AP Rolls Royce edition.

    What a thing of beauty.

And at only £167,000, surely a huge bargain.

    My new grail.

There is an option to make an offer.

I may make the offer to melt it down, so as to avoid it offending anyone else's eyes.

It's rather worrying that a company who produce some of the 'best' and prettiest watches available to mankind, is also capable of creating bile of this gargantuan magnitude.

It's rather a pity that edition was not more limited. 5 less would be the ideal number.

Assuming it wasn't a joke (A BIG assumuption), does ANYONE really spend that much on ANYTHING on eBay?

PS I would have to concede, though, I was stunned when I saw it!

This has to be a joke! AP would not make anything like this, would they?

Is that even real or just a joke ?

    Absolutely crazily horrid.

  24. #24
Just when I thought AP surely could not produce yet another horror; they come out with this. A new low for the brand.

Please, please, please let it be a corporate wind up. I'll hold my hand up and admit I bit. Just let it be so.

I can't believe they have the audacity to charge you for shipping after spending 170k on that monstrosity!

Oh come come, it is water resistant to 30M! It's a versatile time piece that could be worn both dressed up and dressed down. How could one not appreciate its subtle beauty and understated elegance?

In which case you know very little of either the rap music or watch business. There's a whole bunch of fascinating stuff to discover, both musically and horologically.

I'm not really sure Daddel, I listen to a really wide range of music and do know a little about it and rap is musically quite interesting as a genre and often good fun to listen to. In fact the last 3 albums I listened to were:
    1. Roberto Servile, Rossini's Barber of Seville
    2. Akon - Trouble
    3. John Harle - The Tyburn Tree

as to watches, well with an open mind the are really lots of interesting things that one might not initially consider but come to appreciate. How many of us needed a G shock before joining up here?!

There's a certain truth in that.

But, as they say, to each his/her own, I'm a big music lover as well, but rap isn't my thing. And I do have an open mind about music and listen to everything I'm given by friends, so I can make an informed opinion.

I woud never call a genre "tat" though.

    Daddel.

Ermm - this looks to me like a fake. The dial printing is wrong, the lettering on the caseback looks rubbish and the movement itself looks nothing like an AP movement. It is a fake.

I prefer scratching the time in my wrist with a red-hot needle...
    I wonder if this sells..

Can't be real. AP make some awful shite, but Rolls Royce would surely never sanction that.

It was made in the 1990's, and it's real:

    http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalo...&auctionid=255

That movement is one of the best automatics in the world, and definitely not fake.

I think it's kind of cool, cause it looks like a £5 gas-station type watch. For all the talk of "flying under the radar" on here, you'd think it would be popular!

That's hilarious! I did actually think it was some kind of eBay joke. If it's a real AP, that's magnificent. Utterly monsterous.

    Thanks for the link 744ER!
