Hey, is there a second or third tier Italian list if enough people back out? Wishful stupid thinking on my part, and probably inviting some verbal abuse, but I'll post it anyway since I am a glutton for punishment and a sado masochist at heart.

I think I'm about 18 or 19 down the back-up list, so there are going to have to be a lot of back-outs before we get a look-in I think...

Yeah, I figured. There's something to be said for getting in early but I am not one to take up a spot if I am not sure. Character flaw I suppose. ;-)

Those daylight pics really got to me..... Oh well, see through or solid, I will end up with one version for sure. That's one hell of a great looking homage watch, and well made I'm sure.

    Let us guess....

All the engraving is done on the serial numbers - problem is they used the same number on all LE's. Is that the news?

Perhaps the news is that the project came in for considerably less than anticipated...

Eddie, please, give us a hint, mate.

It wasn't MUCH news really, just that Fricker said they would be shipping the LE to me today (Tuesday), that's all.

Perhaps Eddie could send it out in a replica, ping pong ball box and a free bat so you could just bat them around to each other

Dang, I was hoping Fickler was going to say that they have messed up on their financial calculations and that there is a reduction of 40% to the cost of manufacture and therefore a 35% drop in the retail price.!

Ho hum, you cannot all be winners. 8)

    Thanks

That's great news! At first I thought you might have been Frickered (used as a verb).
