Anyone tried the new Sinn T1 or T2 titanium yet?

I quite fancy a new dive watch and for something a little different I thought about either the T1 or T2 watches.

I've also heard the lume on the Sinn divers is not up to Seiko\Omega levels, so it would know if this has been improved on.

I'm a big Sinn fanboy but this doesn't do it for me. Hands look odd and the bezel looks very 80's.

The new EZM9 is a nice piece!
Tegimented titanium means it's light and scratchproof.

Don't know about the price yet, anybody?

    Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

    They're up for pre-order at Page&Cooper for 2800-2900GBP.

    Oops, that's steep!

SW200 powered, they are getting into dangerous territory IMHO.

    No, prices are:

    €2450 (£2000)for T2 on bracelet http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/T2.htm and
    €2650 (£2200) for T1 on bracelet http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/T1.htm

    19% VAT included

    prices are fine IMHO

I don't like the hands set and the shape of case (very Seiko 007, which is fine for Seiko)

We were talking about the new EZM9.

Is there a price known already?

Found another source on WUS...they're quoting these prices for the EZM9s. Kinda matches P&Cs pre-order offers...

    For the EZM9...

    on Leather: €2950
    on silicone: €3310
    on bracelet: €3310

The 9 looks very nice imho, and i'm sure the features/case/etc deserve the "higher" price, but i don't think i'd like it enough for close-to-£3k.

Much as I love my Arktis (and keep thinking it needs a 144 to keep it company), I really don't like this style of Sinn watch.

The watches look a bit toy-like to me with their blocky hands and plain dials.

    I certainly wouldn't be paying nigh-on £3000 for one...

As the Americans say "Your mileage may vary"...

PS The Lume on my Sinn is strong, although I can''t compare it with higher-end Seikos or Omega dive-watches as I don't have either.

    Cheers!

As much as I like Sinn, I'll stick to my 856 non-utc.

I bought the T2 and found it too light and too underwhelming and changed it for a U1000 which will have a permanent place amongst my divers.

    correct.

Do not understand why one would look for a German watch price on an American site when Sinn is publishing their official prices on their site and every AD has to respect these as a minimum.

+1. My thoughts exactly. The EZM9 looks great, but at nearly £3k ...

Knew the EZM9 would be a lot of money, as the chrono is too!

Yes, but that at least has the Sinn modified Valjoux movement.
This is outfitted with "just" a SW200.
