Hi
Has anyone here got a blancpain bathyscaphe? Any real wrist puctures as all I seem to see on the web are generic or photoshopped type pictures.
I havent had the opportunity to see one in real life so seeing some real pictures might be next best thing.
Thanks
Grant

I've not tried one on or seen one in the flesh but have ordered one anyway! It should be arriving at the AD, factory fresh, very soon. I ordered it last week of Feb and was told end of March early April for delivery. I'll be posting pics when it arrives.
I went for the titanium version with black dial on the the blancpain NATO (as I have some spare Blancpain sail cloth straps alredy from my Fifty Fathoms).
Can't bloody wait!!!! Only my second ever, brand spanking new watch.
My goodness thats a bit of a leap of faith, buying without trying on. My worry would be that it can look quite plain in some pctures and in others it looks the dogs bollocks.
Thats why real wristshots are of interest as all the ones on google images generally are either official pics or those from review forums etc and they seldom reflect reality as they have been messed about with or used special lighting etc.
Craniotes has one, and has posted pictures here I believe.
Let me see if I can find it...

Sorry to resurrect an older thread.
Lovely pics by Adam but pics don't do justice to the beautiful dial. This is one gorgeous watch.
Tried one on this morning at the Blancpain boutique in Bond Street. It ruined all my preconceptions (not liking “clunky” divers, can’t wear anything over 40mm, etc.). The thing is just plain gorgeous (notwithstanding the fairly utilitarian decoration on the movement), and feels wonderful on the wrist.
I think the decision is made . . . . . . . Need to count some pennies.
Rolex Oysterquartz (17000) stainless steel beater; Cartier Santos quartz in steel/gold for dress wear; Audemars Piguet Huitième chronograph in yellow gold; Glashütte Original Senator Excellence (classic dial) in steel; Glashütte Original Panoreserve (blue dial) in steel.
Need more . . . .
Oooh that looks very nice - any more pics?
