    Milgauss incommeth

I picked up this cheeky little number a few weeks ago. I'm used to bigger 'pieces and, tbh, this is meant to be a stepping stone towards a ROO Panda, but it's growing on me :)

Feels less conspicuous to wear compared to my other watches, which is nice at times (they'll let anyone into Waitrose these days :) )

    waddya recon, keeper?

    Congrats mate.
The best looking modern Rolex IMHO.
It's no1 on my wish list, and would be a keeper for sure.

Thanks mate. Pleasantly surprised by the weight and feel, too - I didn't try it on before parting with the cash, but reviews suggested it was a bit thicker/heavier due to the shielding, which is nice.

I love this watch very much, it's great looking, but I view it more as a "fun" watch that you wear for a year or two before moving on... I couldn't imagine this being my main or only watch, as much as I adore it.

Right up there add one of the best cases currently available.

I love mine& should wear it more.
It's just a matter of time...

That's the plan :) I hadn't bought a watch for about a year before the Milgauss (AP 15300). Bit of spare dosh, this was on the want list.

The only Rolex I would consider buying - very nice.
    Shame it's got no date.

:) The only Rolexes I'd consider with date is SD and DSSD (had both). Hate that cyclops with a passion.

Like a few others, one of the few Rolexes I'd actually like to own.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?

Lovely Rolex and very understated. I'm not a huge fan of the PCLs on the GMT etc, but it really suits the Milgauss and looks like it perfectly compliments the watch; definitely a keeper.

Agreed. I think it's the polished bezel which makes the PCLs work well. I've always, since my first SD, thought the rolex oyster bracelet had 'shiney' in just the right places.

You know if anyone told me I'd like something with a combination of orange and green, I'd probably think they have me mistaken for so someone else. But this really works.

Thanks lads. Liking the way the sun catches the green tint of the crystal at times.

Great watch and great pictures! Btw, have you heard that GV crystal would be more prone to chipping than other crystals?

Just not a fan of the colours on the dial and the lightning strike second hand. Feels a bit gimmicky to me.

Mine went into the washing machine and survived without any chips to the crystal!

It is a very nice piece, mine is reluctantly getting the chop soon to fund a grail purchase.

If only we could keep all our watches!!!

Love it, one of the best color combo's on a Rolex (imho)

  35. #35
A great all round watch imo. Doesn't look out of place in a suit or in jeans and a t-shirt. I reckon it's a keeper!

Lovely watch. The photos show it off pretty well actually...in its natural environment if you will :)
I fear i might have to check out the new blue/green Milgauss when it becomes available (or the black/green as an alternative...).

The GV is a fun watch. One of the few 'unserious' Rolex, if you know what I mean.
    Have fun with it....

Really like the watch but unlike a few others I like the new one with the blue dial. It would be a great summer watch.

That's the thing I've said a few times about the GV, it's a watch that loves the sunshine. Real summer watch

Very nice watch and they do look lovely in the flesh. I walk passed one nearly everyday when in town, the store is now a Rolex dealer and I have to say its on my list now!

It's a really interesting watch. Slightly unusual without going overboard. I really like it, especially with the black dial.
