I dont think that it is immediate - the system needs to catch up with itself
Have you searched the plethora of old threads that there are in the archives?
Hi All,
I've (just!) got the 50 posts and have been around fro longer than 60 days but I still can't see SC...
I've searched the forum and saw that I had to log out and then log back in - no joy. I've also seen that there is some sort of script that runs to assign rights to the topic which (apparently) runs hourly, but it's been many hours since I hit the 50 - so I'm not really sure what is happening.
Anyone got any bright ideas!? :)

I think the system only gets update twice a day IIRC
Give it until the end of the day and I'm sure you will have access - you may need to log out and back in again ??
I'm sure if you log out tonight you'll have access in the morning when you log in. See it as another days reprieve before the ritual emptying of your wallet.
There is no such thing as Sales Corner. It's just a myth we use to encourage new users to contribute 50 posts to the forum.
Hi All,
Many thanks for the help - it's appeared! Probably just a system catchup type thing...
Very curious to see what is on offer!
To see the full SC you'll need a lot more posts.
At 50 you'll only be able to see the stuff that hasn't sold after a month.
Lets not forget the socks and underpants
The place is better than the M&S sale in this regard
I don't know why we bother having a search function.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Have you seen the notice at the top of the page when you're not logged in? This would have presented itself to you when you first registered.

Indeed I have, and my number of posts and length of membership tied up completely with that statement - hence the post in the first place. What I didn't realise was that there needed to be some sort of scheduled system refresh before the "new" topic areas appears, I (kind of!) found out about these through the search facility. I'm now a little older and wiser!
Regards,
Steven
