The round ones look better to me - rather cool
Probably need to give my self a stern talking to, but saw this on the Ernest Jones website, and contrary to my normal tastes of Diver/Tool, I found myself tempted to order one:
Similarly this one:

I shall now go and sit on the naughty step.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Quite like these but somehow whenever i see one i just think electric toothbrushes!
I really like these - nice bit of product design heritage as well. The originals came from the pen of Dieter Rams, I think these ones are just "inspired" by his style.
I quite like it, but does it give a close shave? lol
I liked it too until I tried one on. Just felt a little toylike to me

That's a pity. Was that the Braun or Skagen?
The Swatch is a lot more - the Braun were £48 at Ernest Jones last time I looked.
Are these made by Mondaine?
You can get a round one for £39. Can you go wrong for that kind of money?
Use your Quidco linked credit card upon purchase for 7% cashback too!
Most people do link Braun with tooth brushes and hair dryers but they have been selling watches since 1977.

I've had a couple and they're not bad for the money. The straps are pretty basic in my experience though.
The registered trade mark "Braun" and the associated stylised logo mark are exclusively licensed to Zeon watches globally.
Thus you have a German name, and I suspect, a cheap as chips Chinese heart..
Zeon are pretty big, they include brands such as Ingersol, but very little of their wares reach 3 figure price tags even in the lower end high st stores, so getting Braun was quite a coup for them.
Is the proposed replacement for your AT ?
Just joking of course - but I do think of shavers when I hear Braun

I sold an original 1980s Braun watch brochure to Zeon when they first started thinking about the Braun project.
Last year I modified a Zeon movement (from a BN0076) to fit into an original 1978 Braun DW30. It was quite a task but worked out OK in the end.
The movement was quite good quality and not as cheap and nasty as some I've seen.
There is also a range of Braun watches produced by Ventura - click on following for current Braun range:

I've got an alarm clock like that...!
When I first saw the new Braun BN 32 I thought it looks quite nice and bought it. Unfortunately the big white dial feels empty and boring.

In the end I managed to find an original Braun nos Dw30 from the 90s.
Rather small but perfect Bauhaus design. shame Zeno created these new blown up watches to satisfy the current trend for bigger watches.
Quite interesting that Braun had with Dieter Rams a designer over the decades from the 60s to the 90s from which even Apple, who makes a living by charging for design, nicked a number of ideas (design for iPod, iMac, power mac, MacBook Are influenced by Rams Design)
