Helson. Again. And again....er.... and AGAIN

Not sure what all this is about. Stumbled upon them through threads on here, a long long time ago in a.... Well you get the picture.

I keep going back to the Shark Diver. Never owned one in a 45mm, as the 42mm size scares me enough (which is what I currently have).

So just a little trip through my Helson history. Great company and product IMPO

    In no particular order......

I had a white faced with blue markings 45mm Sharkdiver for a while. I really enjoyed it and it definitely was a hefty lump! I sold it after a year or so but I can certainly vouch for the the brand. Very make nice watches at a good price point. Great service from the MD in Hong Kong too.

I like them all, but the Sharkmaster and the FF style are the best imo.

Yeah, they don't do that combo in the 40mm .....yet.

Only issue I had with the 40mm (twice) I couldn't get it to fit perfectly to my wrist (without it being slightly tight, or slightly too loose) on the bracelet :-( otherwise that is my perfect size. I even thought about getting another hole drilled in the micro adjustment, but just didnt have the balls lol.

Do like the Helsons, I really like the old turtle back Certina homage, had any experience of these at all as they are a bit of a lump?

The SD is superb, and probably the only one I'd consider flipping a Sumo for.

Received one of the new batch of Skindivers last week (41mm - sapphire - C3 no date). Ordered on a Sunday, delivered on Wednesday... Have to say I'm smitten. It's a really beautiful thing and the attention to detail is amazing for the price. Particularly like the screw bars and the 20mm lugs. Definitely a keeper this one. Love it.

Did you ever receive that VAT invoice Geralt? Very curious to know what it came to, I've heard people say HMRC tend not to catch up with shipments from HK. I'm very tempted by an SD40 and have been for a while, just concerned about the L2L length on my 6.5 inch wrists...

Got a Sharkmaster 1000, which is a great watch and would love a Sharkmaster 600 at some point.
