Thank you Acidpisar - These real world photos are most helpful when buying online.
The DA46 has more wrist presence than its additional 1.9mm bezel diameter alone would indicate.
I posted it at WUS forum too but it might be help for those who don't read WUS so here we go.
I took some pictures to compare both.
Maby it could help to decide which one you want to buy.
And AR shot:
According to Damasko news they changed glass producer and there is no AR magic blue reflection in new models.
You can see it from the picture.
AR works great but i miss it.
Good that i have both (old and new AR) : )

I think you've just convinced me that the DA46 will be my next Damasko :-) Thanks for the comparison !
Don't know my Damasco ref's, but the one with the rotating bezel is really nice.
(Kudos for the synchronised seconds BTW!)
Thanks to share these pictures.
I've convinced myself to try a white Damasko for this new year.
The one without the rotaty bezel.
I really like the DA36. Thanks for sharing!
I have a 56 and I wish it had the blue.
However I am a not a fan of the bezel, preferring the cleaner look of the other.
Both looks great, but prefer the aviator over the diver.
Thanks for the pics.
I like these watches, thanks for the comparison photos. I am really torn between the DA36 and a Stowa A dial flieger. The DA36 has a beautifully finished case that has good water resistance and a perfect size. I am just not convinced I can live happily with a day-date watch (too much upkeep when not worn everyday) or that yellow seconds hand. Even so, I still want one...
They should bring back the blue. Thanks for mentioning it as I could not find it on mine no matter where I turned the face.
Explains why the missing blue on mine was never actually there!
Two more pictures for DA46 lovers : )
You went for the 12 hour bezel on the 46. That's my choice too. Makes a great travel watch.
Both look great. Funds permitting, I would get the DA46 and instead of the DA36 I would get the Stowa Flieger.
When Damasko launched the DA36 in 2006, they agreed to allow me to do an introductory price of £415. I've lost track of prices, how much are they now?

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
I have a long standing debate with myself whether I should sell my
DA36 Black
and my DC67
and replace them with a DA46, no, a DA46 Black or a DA47, or a DC56 maybe. The problem is that I like all the combinations... Then there is the 'soon' to be introduced bracelet. I like the 'black' watches, but not sure about a black bracelet (if it is ever released), which takes me to a DA46 on bracelet (again). But, then black DA46 on bracelet might be really cool, I just don't know...
Then I would have to think about the bezel...
My god, this is a real first world problem, just not sure how I am going to manage (or I can do nothing too...)
I've always preferred the cleaner look of the DA36. I find the bezel of the DA46 just a bit too busy.
I like more the cleaner look of the DA36...
Like comparing a carrot and a radish, similarities but very different. Do you want a diver or not, that's the question.
I Had one in last year for service and I wasn`t over-impressed. The rotating bezel lacked the nice 'feel' of a quality watch.

I like the engineered, severe styling of the Damaskos, their instrument quality legibility and the heft and tactile feel of that case steel. I suppose it's a slightly nerdy appeal for me.
But I don't find them easy to wear, with their high slab sides and unsubtle dials - like I need to be in Action Man mode to carry off the look they convey.
For this reason I prefer the smaller models without rotating bezels.
36 for me - original and the best.
The Damasko never pretends to be a "nice" watch, it's a tool watch and engineered as such. The actual rotating bezel may not have the 'feel' of a 'nice' watch but it is very precise and firm. Let's put it this way, I know what watch I'd use if I had to rely on the bezel feature and it would be the Damasko every day of the week.
For me it's neither of these, but rather the DA34, as I cannot stand watches with Arabic dials. It's been a looong time since I had to count my way around the markers to be able to tell the time.
