NYE - What watch will you be wearing to see in 2014 ?

What watch will have splashes of Champagne, Lager, Guinness, Ale, Whisky, Brandy, Rum, Vodka, Gin, etc...... On it in the morning ? ........ in casualty ;-)

Going to a house party with about 35/40 friends and lots of kids 'n rugrats

Know there will be a 16613 and a Bi metal Tank Française there.
I'll be wearing the SMP chrono

I no longer see any attraction of going out amongst loads of tosspots who only 'go for it' on the one night of the year and could start a fight in a phone box so I will be tucked up indoors at the witching hour after taking the family out for a nice meal in a place deviod of pissheads

my DSSD will be prolly sitting beside me along with any other members of the family who manage to make it to midnight

    Breguet 5707.

I will set it very precisely today and then set the mechanical alarm very precisely for midnight :)

Staying in with friends and will watch the fireworks across London and the south from our balcony.

It can only be the PC, which is firmly on my wrist a I type ...

That said, with Bea away it's going to be a very quiet NYE!

After a few years of quiet New Years I find it is just me and my 13 year old in tonight (wife at work, nurse, and 16 year old at a party) so we might go to the North bank of the Thames, and I'll be wearing something that resists the rain and the champagne

It will be this Christmas present, which has been on the wrist steadily since 12/25.

Very similar to comments above. No desire to spend NYE with a bunch of pisscans I dont know so will have a nice, chilled one with the wife and kids.

Always try a PC for tonight so this today.

    Happy New Year to all.

Hmm, I hadn't considered a calendar option. Might be my Blancpain Quantieme Complet then...

Although the day of the week starts changing at 21:30 which ruins the 'moment' somewhat :)

I might go out,out tonight and in that case I have fired this up last night

I can see it when I am drunk and it can take a few knocks without me worrying to much.

I've started the day with my recent tiddly purchase - the Alpina Extreme Diver. 300m water Resistance should be up the task of mince pies and sherry with the in-laws ;)

    my 305 beater

the problem is it won't be alcohol being splashed on it, more likely to be blood dealing with everyone else splashing alcohol around, it has had to be rinsed a few times before

I'm not out tonight but will be spending it with a few friends - I'm with a few of you others who can't be doing with the one night a year drunks and 20 minute waits for a beer.

Tag Super Pro for me though (thanks to the new links that arrived v recently, it has been my watch of choice for the last few days).

A quiet night with the kids for me. We live in the city center where fireworks are forbidden, so I expect it to be quite okay.

I should be working tonight (where I can't wear a watch) but I've been ill with a sickness bug for the last couple of days, I'll be at home wearing one of my Gs I should think.
