I no longer see any attraction of going out amongst loads of tosspots who only 'go for it' on the one night of the year and could start a fight in a phone box so I will be tucked up indoors at the witching hour after taking the family out for a nice meal in a place deviod of pissheads

After a few years of quiet New Years I find it is just me and my 13 year old in tonight (wife at work, nurse, and 16 year old at a party) so we might go to the North bank of the Thames, and I'll be wearing something that resists the rain and the champagne

Been on holiday in Canada over Christmas and heading back home tonight, so I'll be wearing the same watch as the last week or so when the new year begins somewhere over the Atlantic :)
