And, yes, before someone else says it, that's without the dial.

Obviously the quality and the specs of this watch are awesome, but you can get a lot of Rolex subs with this amount and there are very similar Chinese watches nowadays with less than 30$ :p

Have to say I find that entirely uninspiring, can't find a single redeeming feature come to think of it!

It's not very elegant neither in the combination of materials nor the design/layout, is it ?

An attention grabbing figure from a barely-known brand.

And the deprecation would be bowel-opening.

    Ridiculous.
So clever my foot fell off.

I'm not sure what size it is, but judging from the picture it's too big for a 'proper' dress watch.
But you could use it as some sort of retention plug to save the embarrassment of the bowel openings

I mean at that price you would want it to be more useful than just telling the time

Could cost more than the sum of it's parts

It does take a year to make though; probably.

I'd genuinely like a 007 owner to explain to me, what is there to like about this watch?

    *falls off perch laughing*

I think we all have an individual threshold (with watches, cars, hi-fi, etc etc) beyond which we just can't justify the expense. Even if I won the lottery, this would be last thing I'd purchase...

Agreed.... that's just not a nice object at all. Even for 20 dollars I wouldn't buy that.

Beautiful, and sounds lovely. £256,000 is far too much though.

Probably for an extra $97.500 you can buy a dial for the watch too. I would rather buy another Rolex and spend the rest on hookers

Yes, it'd be an ugly, overpriced Rolex.

So, $418,000 for that one or a far more affordable $317,500 for this:

I wonder (but not for long!)

    The Veblen Seiko.

Sorry, but whilst that's the nicest Credor I've ever seen, it's rather too much money.

I think its a "because we can" model, designed to demonstrate craftsmanship and engineering rather than to be nice to look at.

And, when I get my notification through later on tonight that I have won the EuroSquillions rollover, this watch will not be on my shopping list I can tell you. :)

Forgot to mention that it's not wholly mechanical. It's a Spring Drive, so it must share parts with other Seiko Spring Drives.

The Credor, obviously. Unless you're too old to remember what day or date it is, in which case the Patrick. Obviously.
