I remember them being released and really wanting one! Not sure I've ever seen one in the wild, a very cool Speedy.

That's a beauty alright. Blue dials with a small amount of red text just POP.

I've said this before and I still agree. I'm a sucker for that kind of federal blue tint though.

You tend to associate Speedmasters exclusively with black dials (well, I do, anyway.)

That's lovely - and I agree that particular shade of blue is very classy.

Doesn't do it for me. Never like the speedy with contrast dials.

Yup, one of the best looking "LE" Speedmasters available. Very nice indeed.

Great looking watch. And is that a Martini Racing jacket underneath?

Lol yes it is... you have a good eye! I thought the red and blue shades would tie in nicely with it :-)

Very weird this... I can only find sales websites stating 39mm. However, there's no way that's the diameter. It's certainly not massive but I'd say 42-44mm. Wears perfectly on my small 6.75" wrist :-)

No , it's a regular Speedy 3750.50 with a 35th Anniversary Apollo XI dial added....sourced NOS from WatchCo and fitted by Duncan at Genesis. I had a great modded Mitsokoshi dial Speedy (from ~dadam02~ ) with Pulsation bezel etc, but I fancied building my own. I think a decimetre bezel will be next.
What I think is great about Speedys is that they look great on all kinds of strap. I wear mine on bracelet, NATO, Cordura (as shown) and OEM leather rallye. I think yours would look fantastic on a blue NATO mate.

It's a speedmaster pro... It's 42mm just like every other one. I picked my Gemini over the panda dial because it is both better looking and much more legible.

usually i don't like the limited Speedy version, i think that the classic Pro with hesalite and solid caseback the first and the best when it comes to sport chrono in that price range. But that blue is stunning. It's a really really phenomenal color and it will work great for a more formal dress code. Oh, and a great picture as well.
I can visualize how it would look in my watch box, right along Alaska and 70' 861 stepped dial. But need to get my hands on Pro first

The three sub dial Speedy has never been something that I've been interested in, but the newer bi-compax stuff really looks good to me.
