How does this watch wear size-wise? I have 7.5" wrists and am wondering if it may be just a touch on the small side. Does the asymmetrical case enlarge its presence/compensate for this? I am so used to wearing 42mm watches I am wondering if the 40mm will be noticeable.

Any owners here have similar wrists? How does it wear for you? Got a piccie or 2? Thank guys and sorry for the bother!!!
I have similar sized wrists and I find the size perfect, I've had 4 of eddies watches now and this is my favourite

    Sold!

Thank you for pics - looks perfectly proportioned.

    Ok, Tuesday. Come sooner.

It is a magnificent watch. I love mine, so nice it's too good to wear.

This and a 29A, the perfect two watch combo.

Alright! The PRS82 arrived last week - still in the honeymoon phase. Seriously, love this watch. Felt a bit small at first but I actually love the size now - something about the case has real presence.

Two questions for those out there with these beauties (or even if you just know the answers!).

    1. Winding - which way do I wind this? Clockwise or anti-clockwise? Clockwise feels like it has a bit too much resistance (so loathe to do it that way) - Anti clockwise?

    2. Setting the time - hoping I am just doing something wrong here, but I find it hard to set the time - like the crown keeps losing its grip/catches intermittently. If I pull it out 3 clicks, I have to keep pulling for it to catch, even then, it is a bit hit and miss? Kinda bummed on this one as I am pretty sure it is not supposed to do that! Something broken? Trip to the watch repairer? - EDIT: Silly me didn't pull it out quite far enough (being too gentle) Thanks to Eddie for helping me out there!

Waiting for other straps to arrive to take piccies. That said, really like the rubber strap!

    Solid performer

Perfect companion for the beach and watersports as intended. Set and forget timekeeping (+33s in 14 days). Silicone strap very comfortable. Bezel turnable with wet hands. Took the knocks in wave conditions tough enough to break one of my boards in half. Good work.

    Cheers

Clockwise if you must but it's automatic so, if you're wearing it enough, you won't need to

One of the things I love about mine (and I only see this on a handful of my other watches) is the bluish tint to the crystal in certain light, from the AR coating I guess.

I've noticed that the watch is currently out of stock, but more are on order - where are all these NOS movements coming from?! Remains a great piece and what I wear most days.

There are no more 2783, the next batch will have the 2824.

Oh that's interesting. Are you anticipating a price change to coincide with the movement update? Any idea on timing?

How many of the 2783 were made? We got up to 433 on the owners list thread.

And does that mean the 2824s will be just a homage, not a genuine LE re-issue…?

Thanks, excuse my ignorance but what does that mean in real time terms.

Not a great deal, a smoother sweep of the seconds hand.

It could mean that the first 500 were prototypes.

Just a quick snap of the 82 on the "Nageur De Combat" from seikosthlm over at MWR.

    Suits it well IMHO.

it may be wrong, but I put mine on a tapering black leather strap which makes it look even more period.

If I go swimming its back on a nylon of course.

Great, cool straps, but that stitching is woeful.

Stunning. I have only just discovered this watch and I'm seriously thinking of pulling the trigger.
