Thread: What a rubbish day

    What a rubbish day

    It's chucking it down here.

Last week I was in Majorca.. 29 degrees and sunshine. I checked the weather for Majorca this week - 26 degrees mostly sunny. Oh well..

At least this year we had a summer.
The previous summer was about 2007 if I remember right. Between then and this year it only stopped raining for a few days at a time.
If we're lucky we'll see the sun again about next July.

    It's tough when that happens.

We've had a little rain here today. It's quite uncommon down here on the south coast!

There are some things about home I don't miss!

Well we did have a half decent summer. But this summer's weather should be the norm not an exception.

It's absolutely tipping it down here. The guys working on my garden have abandoned the job and my eldest Son and his wife fly back from their honeymoon later this evening. What a shock they're in for - from shorts and sandals to raincoats and wellingtons in a matter of hours.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

I actually think its one of the worst I can remember.

Even since buying a Vespa again, I've hardly managed to get out on it.

I'm in similar mood to the OP though. Was in LA just over a week ago - at least it wasn't too bad for the first few days whereas today is ruddy awful

Had a long weekend in Quesada last week and pretty much the same temps. Weather over there does not seem to have changed seasonally over the last 6 years where as ours just seems to have been shot to bits.
