A very very nice pair :-)

My wife has just called me down to Tea (thats Dinner to most of you).
Looking at this picture now, I would rather feast my eyes a little longer...best go...she might think I'm watching Porn...and she might be right.

Would it be OK to wear the white one with a polo shirt and jeans?

That particular JLC Reverso is probably the only watch with a power reserve indicator I've ever truly liked the look of. The most annoying thing, after the fact it isn't mine of course, is that I can't understand what makes it so different.

Tony, surely your Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso shown in the picture cannot be as extraordinarily, excruciatingly exquisite in the steel as you make it appear on my screen?

    Like the Carry On title.

And yes, they are rather nice. Great pic as always.

Dinner at 12 o'clock, tea at 5 o'clock. Simples. Northern.

Magic watches and photos as ever Tony.

    Thanks, chaps.

I once knew an architect who told me that his favourite style was Art Deco, underrated he said - smart bloke too.

    In the south, yes.

Actually my use of language has changed as I've gotten older. When I was growing up it was dinner at 12 and tea at 5. Lunch was what posh people had.

But my kids don't know any other then lunch at midday and tea at tea time - 5 o'clock. So a 50% swerve towards leaving my roots behind

Yes, I know what you mean.

I don't mind 'dinner' but I'm not that comfortable with 'supper'. It just sounds so flimsy and watery. I'm sure there'll be someone along to flame us both for being proles.

I don't mind that, but please just call it what it is. Pot Noodles.

Im told the southerners are buggers for eating their lunches at dinnertime. I often wonder where they fit their dinners in.
    Presumably somewhere before teatime...

Lovely - with beans from a tin as a starter.

There's always time for tea. And cakes.

Absolutely fantastic - I had an 8 Days Sun/moon and it is probably the prettiest watch I have ever owned. Can't beat a Reverso, stunning.

The MCC isn't bad either, one of them in my future for sure...

Lovin' them Tony. Whilst I've had both Reverso and MC I actually prefer this duo for overall looks. Have we had a SOTC this month yet??????

The Sun Moon is pretty, isn't it... and the movement is also exquisite.

Thanks Alun. It's only one addition (in the MC) so probably not worth boring everyone with a SOTC post.

Cracking photo. JLC really do produce some very fine watches for the cash. The flip side on the sun-moon is just as beautiful as the front, I'm kinda missing it lol. All the best to you mate

Nice pair indeed, but I trust you won't be wearing that dress diver with a DJ?

Cheers Paul. And no, you don't get custody at weekends

I only wear G-Shocks for black tie events, Andy. I wasn't dragged up you know.

Thanks, although I feel obliged to point out that they're both, errr, JLCs.

Stunning pic as always Tony; I fancy the one on the right though more - which sounds exactly like what I used to say to my old 'pulling partner' back in the (now very distant) day.

Very nice, add a Casio to the pair and you would have all bases covered...
