I can highly recommend a Rolex Explorer II in white.
I seem to have only ever owned black faced watches (IWC mark xv, Speedy Pro, Rolex Sub) and I quite fancy a change. Any suggestions for a nice white faced watch. I have 6.7" wrists so nothing over 42mm.
I can highly recommend a Rolex Explorer II in white.
NOMOS Orion ...
One I regret flipping

What about the white faced (opal, or whatever Omega call it) AT 8500? I'll post some pics of mine tonight for encouragement/inspiration.
I'm particularly fond of the Exp2 40mm white dial, the Nautilus 5711 silvery-white dial and the creamy white Damasko dials.
Explorer 2 is the one I enjoyed the most.
There's a few I have and a few I like but don't own.......... yet
mid range
Not quite white, but still a light face
High end
Another vote here for the Explorer II 40mm, recently picked one of these up and haven't worn much else since. The Omega Aqua Terra 38.5mm is a bit of a looker too, and comes in quartz if you want to spend a bit less. Can i give a shameless plug for my Grand Seiko SBGA011 Snowflake (on SC...) here without a rollicking from the boss? Seriously, one of the nicest and most unusual dials I've seen but a little over your £3k limit

I love white faced watches and recently (today) picked up this 40mm explorer2, love it and i can see this becoming the new daily wearer
I quite like my Bremont white Solo on either their vintage strap or SM500 rubber strap
Am after a white faced watch next too - some nice ones mentioned here but the budget is waaaaaaaay above mine! Current favourite for me is the Steinhart Ocean 2 but at around £400 it's very much cheaper than these, admitted very nice, options... For what it's worth I really liked the look of the white faced Bremont that is around the 3K mark.
Everyone seems to agree that the Exp II is the way to go.
And I can only agree :-)
I do like the explorer brand but wanted to jump out of my comfort zone which id IWC, Rolex, Omega.
One of my friends has a white watch he might sell me. I wont say what watch as it will make an interesting thread. Ill find out at the weekend.
The Speedy is near perfect, but... Am I the only one who has trouble comprehending blued hands with lume?
There are various white faced Seamasters.....
Another vote for the Explorer II 40mm. I have a very similar wrist size to you and whilst the 40mm was perfect, the 42mm is just that little bit too large.
I had to go read about that here: http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/hands-o...-pricing-specs
41.5mm cal 9300 coaxial - very very nice. Also $6000 in steel which must mean a £4k price tag in the UK. Nice but pricey.
Anyway, my white dial is here:
Of the recommendations on this page so far I have tried a White Datejust (dull), a White Explorer 2 (different in pictures than real life) and an Omega Great White GMT. I miss the GMT for the looks if not the thick case. I would say that white dials suit dressier watches better than tool watches.
Check out this thread from 3 days ago which asks the same question - will maybe add some options http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ighlight=white
A suggestion from me is one of these:
Good luck with that!
Another one these.
1991 T<25 vintage.
Paul.
White dialled Explorer II 16570 all the way!
I had a Mk XV Spitfire with a cream-white face - it was a US market model but have seen in the UK too.
One here on a bracelet - http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/I...XVI_S13616.htm
Or a chrono on a strap - http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/I...717_S13908.htm
Mine was the non-chrono on a strap was a very nice watch & wears bigger than 39mm suggests
You had a Mark XV. Maybe a white faced one? Either the Gadebusch or the regular one.
How about a Reverso (eg a Grande Taille) if you want something dressier? Good suggestions below for Bremont and Breitling too.
I have an Omega 'Great White' but no pictures...but someone else on the forum does: link.
Picture borrowed, with thanks, from link above.

http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ra-8500-41-5mm – if I could, I would.....since you can, you should!

As promised, pics of my AT
And on a gator
I've just acquired my first white-dial chrono. I like the style, love the functionality (ETA 251.262, as in the Precista PRS-17C) but am unsure about the hands - due to (a) poor lume and (b) low contrast between hands and dial colour.
The white dial makes it very different from my other watches in look and feel; the lack of lume and contrast detract a little from absolute usability. I think, if those things matter to you, you'd have to ensure that whatever you got was good in those areas.
If I had the budget I would get this, fits your criteria 41mm nice white dial!

Very predictable so far. How about an in-house movement? http://www.damasko.de/eng/dk15_technik.htm
F.T.F.A.
A couple of left of field options, both can be found for under 3k ......just.
Most easily adjusted GMT watch I know of, looks cracking on brown leather too .{ sorry Tim{Java} but it does}
Ok.....its silvery white
Or as the Joker........
Or this.........and this can definitely be had for under 3k !!!
For me this was the Holy Grail of white faced watches after waiting 7 years for one
