Thread: Newbie saying Hello!

    Newbie saying Hello!

Hi all. I've just got back into watches after a bit of a break. I had to flog my 'nice' watches for financial reasons and I'm hoping to build up a collection again. I went through a G Shock phase and was relatively happy till I seen a Seiko Solar Chrono in a jewellers. Very nice it was with the black/blue bezel. But it came with a pepsi dial too! Sold! Nothing extravagant I know but I love it. Here it is on a leather strap I had lying around. I'd like a nice rubber strap but cant decide so please feel free to post suggestions. I hope to get a couple of watches in the not so distant future as well. Hopefully a Glycine Incursore and eventually a Seamaster 2531. Thanks for reading. Not sure I will be able to contribute any watch knowledge but I'll certainly enjoy learning.

    Hi, and welcome.
    Sailcloth could be nice IMHO

    Thanks

I do like those Sailcloth. I especially like the contrast stitching. I think the navy might look quite good, although I did see a pepsi GMT with a brown strap and rather liked that too.

Welcome, it's a great place, although you will be subjected to watches that you will need to own!
