Funny one is Shaquille o'neal and Audemars Piguet. The watch is so big that you need a back pack to carry it

she is hot all right , must take a lot of training to get a toned tummy like that ! .. She might even persuade me to buy a new Seiko - but their spares policy would put me off buying anything but cheapies...

I'll always remember Charlize Theron, wearing a massive Deepsea... as well as being stunning, of course.

Not sponsorship as such but I got stuck on a train once with Pete Postlethwaite who proceeded to swig cans of tennant's extra while doing the crossword out of my paper - he was wearing a Rolex.

I often wonder about Mark Webber who wears sub-£200 Casios for public appearances - anyone think he's wearing that while hanging around on his Yacht in Monaco?

Haha couldn't agree more, that's a little bit over the top. He should just be wearing some of the real stuff while racing..

Very topical, I was on the same flight as Coleen Rooney just earlier this afternoon.
She was wearing what looked very much like a gold AP RO, although I am not 100% sure

Oh wait, I'm off topic. She's not a famous celeb, and I doubt she is sponsored by AP

Just a little? It's totally absurd. They should just pay him to get a tattoo of it.

Some marketing is sophisticated and some is sophomoric. Tattooing a watch on the guy's naked backside and paying him to run around could be considered marketing too.

Mark Webber is almost certainly the most "grounded" of all current Formula 1 drivers. He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife, who is ten years his senior, and their two dogs.

He does not own a yacht.

Unless you know your subject, and are sure of your facts, it's best to refrain from putting ill-informed views into the public domain. Or you're likely to make yourself look rather stupid.

Does the celebrity buy the brand or does the brand buy the celebrity.

Just marketing IMHO as has been said before.
