Try in settings/general settings/thread display options/thread display mode and set to 'linear - oldest first':

Hi folks, new to the forum but been a lover of watches for some time.Previous nice pieces have been an Omega Seamaster and a Tag CV2014. i don't have anything of note at the moment but i would like to get a Breitling Chrono Galactic II in the near future. Sadly i dont earn enough to justify the new prices so it's a matter of waiting for the right one to come up for sale used.
A quick question if i may. I can't see a forum feedback section so i guess i have to ask here. When viewing threads its always the newest post first,and it just seems plain weird reading from the last page on the topic and working backward. I have looked at the setting in my profile and although it states that i can read a thread starting with the oldest post,for some reason my setting wont let me-it only lets me read the newest posts first. If anyone can help with this i would be most grateful.

Sorry Ivor, beats me then... I get four options in thread display mode:
Linear - oldest first
Linear - newest first
Threaded
Hybrid
if you're not getting those options then it sounds like an IT issue and the best suggestion I can give is turn it off then turn it on again!
Someone will be along with a solution I'm sure, but seriously I'd try logging out then back in again to see if the options appear!

I'm now feeling left out as I've never had an issue with viewing the posts oldest first. Maybe I should have a play and mess up my settings ;)
