Great price - anyone know what time the website normally take orders in the morning - is it 9:00am?

Oh dear - 40mm - had been hoping that it was 38mm max

Still, you larger wristed chaps will be happy at this price!

Same here, I think I'll wait for a few wrist shots before I order. At 38mm I would have been f5ing like crazy in the morning.

Hoping the short lugs make it a goer for me.

The 40mm might be a good fit for folks with a sub 7" wrist given the short lug to lug.

Here are some other lug to lug for comparison...

    PRS-18 = 47.5
    PRS-82 = 47
    Speedbird III PRS-22 = 46
    Seafire PRS-37 = 45.5

Thus, these other popular watches have a longer lug to lug, and I think that at 40mm it will fit quite well and not hang off the wrist.

I was one of the (very few) voices further back in this thread hoping for a 40mm plus diameter. Gonna have to try it at 40mm though - I do find dimensions can be misleading to a certain extent.

I've got my Sinn U1 on - on a canvas strap - today. Diameter 44mm, but then thanks to the milled flats at the bottom of the case between the lugs is only 45.5mm, same as the PRS-37. Crystal diameter is 2mm bigger than the Seafire at 34mm, but outside dia 4mm different.

In short, I'm hoping that it won't wear 4mm smaller than the Sinn, but hopefully will wear larger than my Sub - which is the smallest watch I own and actually wear.

I was also hoping for 38-39mm, but with the thickness of the bezel, thinness and profile of case/lugs, AND lug to lug of only 45.5mm I think this will be comfortably wearable for most peoples wrists... including my own

Love the design of those lugs, looks like they're hard to photo due to the PVD, but can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Congrats Eddie, think this looks an absolute belter!

Thats what I'm hoping, I have a 82 and that feels fine I just struggle a bit with watches that are all dial when they get close to 40mm. The SBIII is the largest non bezel watch I wear. (I have a few that I don't because they look to me at least too big)

The more I look at it the more I want it though, so I might well be ordering tomorrow anyway!

Same for me I'm afraid. Was hoping for 38mm...it's not that I have a small wrist, it's just that I like that size watch. I'll wait and see how they look on other members before deciding on this.

The watch looks very nice, decent price as well!
I had feared it was going to be more expensive.

I think I've found my Christmas treat to myself...

If this had been 38mm then my order would have gone in tomorrow morning however I really do think that this is going to be too large for my taste.

I will have a look at the wrist shots when they come in and have a think................

I'm pleased that I didnt get round to ordering the small selection of leather straps that I have in mind!

40mm? Say it aint so. Oh well.
    Next.
Edit: Having said that I think at the very beginning when this was announced I said 38-40 would be the ideal size for me so I'll probably end up getting one anyway.

Me too, first new watch in a good while, first release day Timefactors watch and most expensive quartz watch I've ever bought by a considerable margin.

Just ordered mine and have been watching it's development since the beginning. It'll be my first PVD watch , the looks are pretty much perfect for me and I just love the idea of a quartz that "ticks" like a mechanical watch.

    Cheers

Just ordered one myself, first PVD and first quartz since I bought a Tag F1 in 1992

Now to find a nice distressed black leather strap to go with (I'm going to say it, I don't like NATO straps)

    Cheers

I've been looking forward to this one for ages. It will be my first quartz purchase for many years and my first PVD...and this one is coming to Perth Australia...so I won't be wearing it for a week or two :(

Thank you all for your orders but you will have to be patient, the orders received in the first 2 hours will take at least 2 days to ship and the orders are still coming :-)

I was so glad this one came in at 40mm. Lots of discussion earlier in this thread about 38mm and I was sure it was going to be too small for me to consider.

No confirmation for me yet :-(
Can't of been many in the queue between us, I'd placed my order by 8:12.
Hey ho, whenever there is a queue involved I always seem to be just the wrong side of any threshold, sure mine will be on it's way soon.

Nope. Plus there’s very little space left in his workshop, given the amount of new models - and cats. ;-)

Got my order in around 14.10 - the comment about closing decided it for me ... I'd been thinking about it since 8.30!

Hoping this will be a quartz that will stay around (as it's not your bog-standard quartz movement).

Just curious Eddie, would you be prepared to share roughly how many have been sold on the first day?
