I usually try to wear a G-Shock when having accidents.
    Looks painful.
    Was the watch OK?

Yes, think it was only the clasp that hit anything so the watch head is fine and is still keeping good time. The clasp must also be built better than me because its damage free :)

I was only joking enquiring about the watch, it would be the typical question you'd get from WIS

Glad you are Ok and didn't break anything

Ouch, amazed it could do that much damage. As long as nothing was broken, watch or owner.

You'd think after all your years of experience, you'd have mastered the art of stair usage.
I'd say it's more your feet you need to have a word with, rather than pointing your finger at the Sinn.

Stairs are dangerous; my missus broke her ankle a few years back falling down the last 2 steps whilst carrying bedding....tripped herself up.

As for the watch, be thankful it isn`t damaged. Wrists and toes heal, watches don`t.

As an aside, that watch is top of my current wants list.

I love the look of the Sinn clasp and there's no doubt it's a nicely engineered bit of kit. I have noticed, though, that the corners are pretty sharp. I've worried before about scratching desks and laptop cases when wearing it, but never thought about what it might do to my wrist until now :)

    Ouch.Hope it heals soon.
May not be an appropriate time to point out but it is a 'deployant' and not a deployment!
Moral of the story should be - Try not to fall down the stairs!
