Our little rascal, 15 months old now and he hasn’t half calmed down to what he was. Took him for his booster jab last Saturday and the vet said he was the fittest dog he’d seen all week !

I have the same letterbox, and a few leaflets left at the bottom prevent my terrier from getting to the new mail

Just an update on this one.
Poppy made it to the US and on a recent trip to visit my wifes aunt in Atlanta found out what snow is and loves the stuff. The big tags around her neck are the compulsory rabies tag and microchip number, they really need make versions for small dogs. We will be heading back to Ireland soon but should be back to the US before the summer.

I hope you all forgive me for sharing the story I came across a few days back about a very brave and clever pooch who was awarded PDSA Dickin Medal (post.) for saving lives of a platoon during WWII and lived to tell go back to his family to settle as a family pet LINK

She is beautiful.
Reminds me of Cane Corso who lives with a family I know - or better: théy live with the CC. A monster-size dog, but a sissy inside: afraid of water and he only wants to be cuddled (and he doesn't understand why people move away from him...).His happiest moment: when a stranger - like me- starts petting him.
