Stunning watch you have there. Congratulations!!
Tried this model in Geneva and it is so awesome with the brushed case.

Since my interest in watches really took off last year I have been on a very fast (and expensive) journey discovering watchmakers I had never heard of different movements, dials, case finishes, straps!! Since then my tastes have changed dramatically as I found my way so to speak.
As soon as I saw this model I have been obsessed with it and trying to track one down at a 'reasonable' price, I also wanted the limited edition as I preferred the brushed case finish. From seeing other members collecting them my fascination only grew and when I found one I was hell-bent on getting it. I had to sacrifice my Omega AT and Speedmaster but it was definitely worth it. There really is something special about them as I'm sure other owners will agree. Everything has already been said about its history the huge reserve power etc but it was all part of the draw for me. Today I finally picked it up and have just got it home.
Initial thoughts? They are going to be biased at this early stage but the strap is phenomenal, comfy and a fantastic clasp. The bezel is stunning and clicks with a resounding assurance. The dial is clean and simple in keeping with the originals. My favourite part is the caseback and seeing the rotor and movement, absolutely stunning.
I present number 204 of 500....

That rotor is just...wow.
Gorgeous watch indeed.
That is just............beautiful! I hate watch forums.cos every time I look at an incoming thread? I can feel my wallet wanting to open! SThat is a seriously lovely looking watch though.
That box isn't big enough is it?
Seriously: fantastic watch. Congratulations!
beautifully made, but still don't 'get' them, each to their own.
As far as rotors go, that is some thing special!
Congratulations on a wonderful purchase!
Right down to the packaging this is one magnificent watch congratulations and wear it in very good health.
There's not many watches I'd say this about - but I agree, that is *absolutely* stunning.
I suspect that even at a 'reasonable price' this would be well, well out of my reach. Probably just as well :).
Enjoy it!
My favourite FF by far. Frankly the only one I would want to own - well done and hope you enjoy it for many years.
I didn't realise there was a brushed finished version. Some lovely details including the rotor. Wouldn't be my first choice diver but I can appreciate why you like. Also love the Peli case it is delivered in. They are an awesome piece of kit.
Congratulations on getting your grail! That rotor is fantastic.
"A man of little significance"
Congrats - epic piece!
Lovely watch. Nice one.

The brushed case is fab and the detail of that rotor. Wow.
A beautiful watch. Enjoy. :)
Very pretty, although I don't really like dive watches with display backs.
As a dive watch I'm not sure it would actually be much good and it certainly wouldn't look so pretty after a few weekends with me. :-)
That rotor..... A little twitch in my pants!
Stunning. Just stunning. The rotor is a work of art...
Hadn't seen that version before. Lovely

Great incoming! I'm a big FF fan, obviously, but they're fantastic watches. The Peli case adds to the sense of occaison, and the deployant clasp is a nice touch on the LE.
That is just simply gorgeous, one of the finest looking timepieces I've ever seen in fact - especially the caseback.
Monkey see.
Monkey want.
Yup, its a real looker. If that doesn't get admiring glances and complimentary inquiries ,well, I'm not sure what would.
Enjoy
It makes current sapphire backed watches displying their rotors look pug ugly! Fantastic watch.
Congrats. Can't tell you how jealous I am!
Congratulations, beautiful watch, loving the rotor.
Awesome! Great watch!
It is one of the best divers watches ever. What a stunner. Loving that rotor.
There is so much to like about that watch, great strap, case and rotor. Love the presentation too. Enjoy
Welcome to the club, I love mine and it could well be the only watch I have that feeling for now. Enjoy yours.
Does the rotor have 3 blades? Looks to be in perfect balance, you should check that automatic winding actually works :-)
Lovely. If I had to choose just one diver to wear for the rest of my life, I think it would be a Fifty Fathoms.
Stunning looking watch and that propeller rotor is a work of art - Think Ive now got another watch to add to my wanted list :0)
A masterpiece, a beauty to behold.
That really is a lovely watch!
I was just wondering about winding. Presumably one of the rotor tips is weighted
Just seen this, fantastic looking watch, really need to pull my finger out and get a FF.

Wow... nice package and the display back with the rotor is sublime!
Congrats and wear it in good health!
Ahhhh!
The FF is a beautiful watch- just don't go testing it at 300 feet now will you??!!
John
Beautiful watch. Thank Christ I don't get them myself............yet
