I believe it is a Paul Newman (albeit not the exotic dial 6239). PN wore a black dial 6263 also (see here....http://rolexblog.blogspot.co.uk/2002...n-daytona.html)

    Stunning quartet.

They're all superb, but the Bakelite bezel makes the Daytona just sing. Gorgeous, the lot of 'em.

that is a far more valuable collection than i could ever dream to have, but none of them really float my boat..

i know they are lovely watches but really couldn't see myself wearing any of them over my current collection.

That is a beautiful vintage collection.

Don't apologise for the photography, better to see a normal pic of something great and unusual rather than a fabulous pic of something banal.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Beautiful, the Daytona looks quite dainty beside the others. All absolutely stunning pieces with great patina, well done on putting together such a collection. BTW nothing wrong with the photo!

    sweet collection buddy!

Thanks, all. The 5513 is my favourite, but I wear the 1655 most of the time. The Double Red is striking and looks good on a black/red NATO. Don't wear the Daytona much as it is quite dainty and I ain't!

You've got your vintage bases pretty much covered. A piece from every branch of the Rolex family! I'm very impressed!
