It's a great watch. 3 months into my OM, it is still my daily wearer, and tbh, I like it more than my Submariner. Just needs a BM on rubber to go with.

Very nice choice! Personally I prefer this watch on the Seiko rubber band. If you get bored of the bracelet, you can always change it. Lots of nice options for this watch.

A great watch for the money. No, skip that, a great watch irrespective of the money.

    Wear it in health.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

Great watch, one of my keepers. Mine is on a black and orange nato. Always gets nice comments.

Had mine for a couple of months, bought off the SC on here.

Fantastic watch for the money & oh so comfortable on the bracelet. Usually wear mine when the sun is out or t-shirt weather.

Originally bought an orange rubber strap form eBay, but found the bracelet to comfortable so sold the strap again on SC

    ,

Used to have a black Monster which I had Yobokies modify, bead blasted & a simpliar Seiko dial fitted was my dailly for a while. Then flipped it whilst my dad bought a black Seiko Monster.

    ,

Now debating a black monster with the bracelet option as slightly more toned down than the orange!

Have seen some lovely white monster mods on here though!

I've got the OM and the BM. I mix'n match them between a rubber and a Jean mesh. Very versatile combo IMO and nice watches.

Bought my SKX 781K OM Sept/Oct 2012. Love it on the whole but a bit disappointing with its timekeeping which is about +10 seconds per day although I think this is within their spec. The new model has hand winding and hacking

I usually alternate this with my Sub ND which I bought used in March this year - I'm happy with either but think the OM is good value for money.

Wear and enjoy your Orange Monster.

My OM (781K1) runs at about +20. It's not great but it'll do. The BM is a 307J1 and is spot-on.

I'm starting to get back watches that I should have kept (starting with an LLD) and this is going to be another target (for the money I could be doing it now instead of typing this ...), actually my wife managed to 'lose' mine so really she should pay for the replacement ...

If you like the Monster but are not happy with the 7s26 movement accuracy/ hacking (I have an SKX009 and SKX011 so know about the 7S26) then try the new monster with the 4R36 movement my orange monster is keeping a consistent +4 spd much better than either SKX 7S26 movements (neither are too bad though). The quality of the watch feels much higher than its price point as well - lovely bit of kit.
