    Buckle at 12 or 6

I found myself with a couple of watches that i acquired with the Buckle end of the strap fitted to the 6 o-clock end lugs.So the first thing i did was change it round.
I was wondering how many wear their straps that way and why...May be left handed or just preference.Be interested to see any other reasons........Terry

Buckle at 12, unless it's a deployant, in which case I would fit the short (buckle) end of the strap at 6. The other way around the deployant always ends up down the side of your wrist.

    Oh, and I'm a lefty.

Watches are supplied with the buckle at 12:00 people may do as they wish, but that's that.

Anyone found with a buckle at six can only be a blackguard and should be soundly horsewhipped.

I bought pre owned watch a few weeks ago and the buckle was on at six, I immediately changed it. i thought it had been carelessly put on incorrectly. It never occurred to me someone might actually do it on purpose

My mate wears the buckle at 6 because he says it feels more natural when fastening it. It's up to him, but of course he's W R O N G

Always at 12 for me. Just doesn't feel right otherwise.

I'm told that it's easier if you're one of those reprobates who wear their watches on their right wrist...

I wear my watch on my right wrist.
    Buckle at 12.

At 6 would make no sense to me.

at 12 for me, i'm a left hander who wears his watch on the left wrist. One thing i've never understood to those people who wear their watch on the underside of the wrist.

Buckle at 12 - just feel more natural when doing it up.
If it's at 6 then the spare end of the strap is on the inside of the wrist and more likely to catch on pockets etc. (All IMHO!!)

Oh and I'm left handed but wear on the right!

Buckle at 12. That way the logo is the right way up when it's on the wrist.
