Gautier Watch. Any information or ideas where to find some gratefully received.

A friend of mine has asked me if I can find anything about about his Gautier watch. (Not Jean Paul!)

He bought it while in Bahrain (fighting wars and stuff) and has only found it again recently.

Any information on the company, if it has any history etc would be much appreciated. The is a Gautier that had quite a substantial role to play with SSIH in the late 70's and their realignment to quartz, presumably directly relating to the creation of swatch.

Anyway, would be great to lean more.

Thanks for this. I has found this link, it almost looks like a poor mans Cartier or something.
