The Zulu is a copy of the Rhino, which itself started life as a copy of the Waterborn.

The NATOs are thinner, with flatter (less substantial) hardware.

The Zulu I had had a weaker tang than my Rhinos, and the Zulus tend to be shorter. Other than that, it's a color game.

The gray Rhino absolutely rox. :D

A week at 30-degrees plus, and the advantages become obvious (or whatever the lack of olfactory nuisance is called in English). ;-)

A week in the tropics with daily rain and sun, and you'll find that nylon straps stink to high heavens if you don't wash it daily. It also stinks if it keeps raining and there's no chance of drying the strap out. That's why I use rubber straps - they remain neutral come rain or shine.
