    Speedmaster meets DB10 Rally...

I contacted James at DB10 straps 3 weeks ago, and after a day or two of thinking through the vast options James provided me with, I settled on a design for my vintage Speedy, and here it is:

James was really flexible, providing me with various design options and vast colour/leather options. I settled on a 20mm Small Hole Rally strap, in my preference of a mid-brown, rather than a dark chocolate or tan. Thread colour chosen was an off-white, more in keeping with the patina of the hands on my 30 year old ST145.022.

I'm really pleased with the result. The strap itself is really soft and supple with a degree of stretch and has a vintage, ever so slightly distressed look - it's exactly what I was looking for.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure it's the perfect match for my Omega, but that is no reflection on DB10, the strap is superb, but whether it suits the Speedy perfectly, I'm not so sure...

Seriously thinking about one of these for my Omega Speedmaster Mk4.5. I loved the Mk4 that was on here the other day with the blue stitching, very smart. Can I justify £50 for a strap though....

Are you kidding? It's a bargain. Think of the time and effort that goes in to a custom strap like that, made to your specifications.

    £50 is a great price

    That looks good, Ross.

Let me know when you want to sell it......
