    Hmmm.

Call me Mr. Picky but wasn't the Project Alaska designed for the dark side of the moon?

I think it's correct, incoming = coming in or about to come in.

On TZ it seems to mean 'watches I have recently received' which isn't right.

    Congrats anyway!

Any idea on what the final price will be.. and did you happen to get prices for any of the other new models, like the 15,000 Gauss AT?

    Cheers.

Good choice, I really like this and would love to see one in the flesh. Are they due to be arriving around October time? Its going to be a long wait!

It's a lot of money but is a great looking watch.

Also looking forward to the photos of it "in the wild".

No sign of one in the Trafford Centre Omega shop today, well, I had to look, it's part of the contract with the bride, she gets her cup of coffee and I get to look at the watch shops!

Pics of yours eagerly awaited, it looks like a winner.

Congratulations! I think that's a great choice. Even though you can't yet see it in person, I don't think you will be disappointed. Personally, I love the choice of the Cordura strap, it looks perfect with that watch.

Probably a good idea to put down a deposit since you know that is what you really want. Apparently, the process of doing the ceramic is very extensive, and they can only produce so many each year. Not a limited edition, but quite limited production. A very special watch indeed!

Hope you don't have to wait too long!

    Cheers
    Carl

I take my hat off to anyone who has the patience to put a deposit on a high value item and then wait for delivery. I have missed out on owning some lovely pieces due to not possessing that particular attribute. Congratulations OP. I look forward to seeing photos.

General production, but due to production limits they'll only be able to make around 3000 a year. I'm assuming it's to do with the supply of the ceramic cases/pushers/crown.

I like it. But I don't like it as much as i like a 14060, a speedy pro and a fortnight in the Bahamas

Edit: just saw the video and it is actually a closer decision than I thought... Lovely watch, congrats

£7590 is certainly not cheap but by heck is it a stunning looking watch. Hopefully I should be able to get an up close & personal with it in the next few weeks.

I was at the Omega boutique Bond st a few weeks ago and they did mention that the Speedmaster 57 cal 9300 was going to be about £5k for steel and £6k for titanium on the bracelets.

  42. #42
I got an email last week saying the Omega on Regent St is getting a couple in see this week, although they expect them to sell out pretty quickly. Going to have a look, as I'm a big fan of the pics, but the price seems a bit OTT.

It is a stunning watch. I particularly like the ceramic case and that pie-pan shaped sapphire display back showing off that lovely 9300 movement.

I wonder if they'll sue Pink Floyd for use of their trademark (whoops probably should have kept that thought to myself)
