JLC DueMetre Travel Time - i like it!

Darn - this looks a cool one, but limited to 100 pieces and only available in JLC Paris Boutique - I guess a trip to France is in order!

I must stop surfing the www - it is bad for the bank account!!

    Pics with thanks from hondinkee.com

    42mm - perfect!

The Duometre range really shows that JLC are a top-drawer manufacture IMO - they are all innovative, well-made and beautiful. I think the moonphase is probably still my favourite, but the Travel Time is also a bit more practical than the technically amazing, but visually confusing chrono.

That's an incredible looking watch. JLC offer fantastic value on their high end complications. I don't know what this would cost, but I guarantee it's a third what it would cost from Breguet, Patek or ALS.

I love the duo metre in a number of forms. To me they are just mesmerising! This one looks great, although I tried on a quantieme lunaire at the boutique on bond street which is just sublime. White gold and black dial, limited to 200 pieces. It just looks fantastic!

I visited JLC last week, had a factory tour and met the man that designed the Duo range.... Absolutely fantastic, the most humble man I've ever met, and yet when he spoke, everyone listened.... You could feel the respect in the room..

He even answered my stupid questions with grace....:-)

That is seriously gorgeous and will no doubt be seriously out of reach. Further strengthens JLC's place in my heart and at the top of my watch brand league table.

I like this range too and this is a great looking watch, it's just a shame that you lose the best feature of the Chrono and QL versions... the jumping 6th second hand.

Personal favourite is the Ltd. Ed. White Gold QL.

Wow. JLC really knows how to make beautiful watches (and clocks!) both technically and aestetically. I'd love to get one, but suppose the price will be serious.

I think the duometre series are all outstanding designs and I have a serious difficulty deciding on which is my favourite. I've tried all but this new one and thought I knew my preference (the 42mm QL in rose gold) then this comes along!
