    2013 State of the Collection

After picking up my Air Command from Omar this week, thought I'd post a quick and dirty SOTC. Quickly grabbed on my iPhone, so not the best quality or the greatest depth of field!

Back row - two 42mm Panerais - a 369 Radiomir and 392 Luminor (on a Toshi) both of which fit my skinny wrist perfectly. Also my crazy LW Oktopus II. At the front a JLC Reverso on Camille Fournet and the new Blancpain. Surely the collection is complete now!

I have to concur - the Air Command is the standout piece from a cracking set. Not many around either.

Very nice, but I'm sure I won't be the only one to say the collection is never complete.

Agreed - I keep thinking about trying to shift the LW and the Radiomir to finance the beautiful AP ROO on the sales corner :)

Very nice indeed, if that were me I would never be able to choose which one to wear each day?!

Which Toshi have you got on the 392?

Great, thank you, I'd not considered the teak before, it looks lighter in your picture compared to the one on Rich's website. Too many choices!

    Nice group.

Although I notice you've accidentally not got the Blancpain on a nato? :)

Nice to see the Linde Werdelin. I've been wondering if I should get one of those, perhaps in yellow.
It looks massive, how does it sit on the wrist?

It sits really well and feels like a 42mm watch, so it fits my little wrists perfectly. I was considering selling it to help finance the AP ROO on the sales corner (in fact if you do a search you can find an old for sale post with better pictures).

Drop me a line if you're interested :)

I tried on a SpidoLight 2 but that looked ridiculously big on my wrist and I'm a bit afraid that it'll be the same with the Oktopus. Is it bad form to use their Try It For Free program and then buy the watch elsewhere

I already have a WTB for a Sinn EZM3 and getting your LW will make deep cuts a lot into the watch funds. Although it's tempting. It would go nicely with my LW 3 Timer.

Could you shift only the Radiomir and have the AP ROO and the LW :-) I remember seeing your LW photos from either WT or SC before - is a rare gem

I'd assumed the cases were all the same size they would all accept the digital add on things. I'm away until next Friday, so I can measure it properly and send some wrist shots to give you an idea.

    Cheers,

The JLC screams class, sat amongst its inferior friends. I never realised the Reveso was quite so big. Lovely looking watch.

Great. Excellent variety & quality, and I agree that Toshi's a super choice.

I think you could only improve on it and increase variety by adding pieces - a touch of colour (Something blue? Or a Black Bay, since you look to like divers?), or an 18ct vintage dress watch, perhaps?

Very nice collection - for me the Reverso is the gem

I still don't 'get' the Panerais - I've tried a Fiddy and a GMT but neither did it for me

Touch of colour? Maybe the new blue faced Yacht Master on the sales corner?

    Maybe next year :)

I think that's a lot to do with perspective. That picture is dreadful, sorry.

That's a great spread of watches in a collection - the LW is the most unusual, and very special IMO.
