Thread: Show us your SKX031

    Show us your SKX031

    I love these little SKX.

Strange lug width (22mm) for a smaller watch.

I have mine on a jubilee bracelet but the ends don't really fit that well.

Any ideas where to get a proper bracelet?

I had an '033 on the Seiko oyster-which was ok, but no better. Bit rattly. Yobokies does a super-oyster for them though.

Truly excellent watch - always looks great on the wrist. The fact it resembles a Sub has a lot to do with it I think!!!

Well, I don't know who Yokobies is, but anyway I've gone nuts and ordered one of these for 15 quid from Hong Kong:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1708768096...84.m1439.l2649

It says it is made specifically for the SKX031.

    Opinions?

Thank you, they do look superb. Bookmarked in case the Chinese one I've ordered turns out to be pants.

Yobokies is well regarded and a good guy to deal with. His aftermarket parts are good quality.

Harold just uses Photobucket, first one that comes up on Google. Add email to the search and it will show up too, yobokies@yahoo.com.hk i think!

I had this one a few years ago, one of the few watches I really regret selling!

The W Jean Super Oysters are terrific - far and away the best bracelet you can put on an SKX in my opinion, and miles better that the jangly Jubilees (and yes, your end pieces do appear to be a particularly poor fit, I must say!).

I had an SKX009 on a Super Oyster and it was great. Real quality feel to it.

I don't understand the whole NATO thing I'm afraid - I just think it cheapens the look of the watch (but that's just my opinion - not shared by many here).
