Do items in the garden count?

    WWII Bomb shelter

  3. #203
certainly do when they are as good as that!

  4. #204
Its not unique but i think its pretty cool.. a glass knot, made by a pal at work yesterday.

Thought my girlfriend would love it too but she only likes the colour.. i think its cool anyway!

  5. #205
Now that is cool, never know when it will come in handy:)

We had one at our old house, I was halfway to making it into a sauna, but we moved before it was completed.

A lot of nice pieces on this thread. 2 of mine below.

Custom Alien bust bought from a convention about 8 or so years ago.

Small painting by a British artist called Russ Mills (a.k.a. Byroglyphics). Not a portrait of anyone in particular. But it is painted on vintage Chinese comic book pages. Which you can just make out from the below picture.

I made this myself from a ceramic femoral head, dropped on the floor by accident during a hip replacement operation.

They are many hundreds of pounds to buy through the NHS supply chain.

Usually last 15 years articulating with a plastic or ceramic socket in your hip

I very much doubt there's another key chain like it.

There are also photos of him on the set of Alien, Star Wars and a few Bond Films around the same time up at pinewood.
Just read this! In my family we have a belt buckle given by John Wayne to my grandfather while he was working on the locations of Brannigan. My grandfather also was the location manager on Star Wars, so we have a fair amount of other memorabilia. My grandfather's name was Arnold Ross. What's your dad's name?

    That is fantastic!

Good job you didn't have a spare Charnley stem on the day you were feeling creative - you'd never lose your keys then.

    This...

Although not for much longer, my 10 year & 8 year old daughters donated their hair to Little Princesses Charity (provides real hair wigs to kids who lose their hair through cancer treatment).

I've got a mate with a lambo on his wall and a Picasso parked on the road. Is that comparable?

Thanks guys - I am indeed very proud of both of them.
Though I suspect the parental influence can only go so far.
This young lady probably had quite an effect on their decision too...

Jessie J supported the Little Princess Trust by donating her hair
Still immensely proud of them both though

Here's a piece of my art, currently in storage. By a French artist, Bom-K.
It's big (2mx1m) and slightly fruity.....
This is a catalogue pic. I framed it in a deep white box frame, no glass

This was my office a couple of years ago. The decks on the wall are by D-Face and the surf board is a one-off by Pure Evil.
The decks are in storage and I swapped the surf board for a watch ;)

I have around 30 collectable decks. Happy to post some pics if there is interest

My 21st present from my parents, they commissioned a local artist to paint this, I got to choose the mark of Spitfire, the markings, the clouds, landscape etc! There are no prints and I also have the original drawings.

I probably like to think I have a few things that belong in this thread but the arrival of a new dining table gave me the space to take a photo of this cupboard that we use to store our CD collection in.

Good question. It was a 'mixed media' piece (spray stencils on both side and a thick cut out photo print of the vinyl bunny girl). Over time the bunny girl was starting to lift around the edges. Plus the board was starting to yellow. I felt it was deteriorating too fast so as it off. Spent some of the dough on a Super ocean chrono :-) and made a donation to Surfers Against Sewage.

I have another Pure Evil piece in storage somewhere. 'Mans Ruin' I think it is called. Not as interesting as the board though.
