Well, it was as a result of that thread and my first TZ induced purchase. But I know when I'm not wanted....

I started with an 009, anguished long and hard about an Orient Mako, then grabbed a BM from SC on another forum.

What a great watch! For me, feels much more solid than my 009, but that may be due to the less substantial-feeling OEM jubilee strap. The BM strap is much more solid, but don't lose those link pin sleeves!

Watches: Omega Seamaster f300hz (1973), Seiko SKX779 Black Monster, Seiko SND253 Flightmaster, Seiko Diver H803-7001, Seiko SNZF49 'Mini Monster', Seiko SRP309 'Orange Monster', Orient Classic Auto.
Incoming: Prometheus Trireme, Seiko SNZ211 'Landshark', Steinhart Ocean One green
Grails: Sub 16610, Speedy Pro, Tudor Pelagos
    Cars: Mercedes E220 CDI estate (W211), BMW 325i cab M-tech 1 (E30)

I was expecting to see a PVD monster with cherry coloured dial. Bit disappointed now.

Does it exist? if it does'nt, it should.

    Black monster Cherries

Although not the first watch I purchased after joining TZ-UK the forum was the reason why I firstly purchased an OM, followed [very] shortly afterwards by a BM both within about a week of each other. I'm not going to lie, the "keen" pricing at CreationWatches.com probably had a lot to do with it as well but I don't think I would have ever come across them had it not been for this forum.

Whilst I'd love to post some pics I don't have either to hand at the moment but I can feel some coming on when the weather improves

    Cool Monster

I was quite the other way `so to speak`, did not like the Monster at first.
Then guess what after buying an 031 & 007 wanted to complete the set
& now I Looooooove my monster.

    Keep up the monster threads

I wish I could remember back that far (not to my join date here, but to when I purchased my first Monster). I've had five so far and just sold this one last year. I think I'm done now, that itch finally scratched and scratched well.

I already owned a Black Monster (and a white dialled baby Monster) before I registered on here.
Baby Monster has been moved on, but my Black Monster is still loved (and wearing it today).

Yes I ended up owning three, inch scratched but still enjoy looking at pictures of mods and the newer designs. I only paid £80 for mine, they seem to have increased in value these days.
As long as I get up one more time... than I fall down!

I picked up a 007 instead. I love Seikos in general, but I just can't get on with the Monsters. The bezel is just too much for me.
