My job currently involes a lot of Skype meetings so this enables me to set alarm time quickly as reminder. Much quicker than phones IMO. It's 100m water resistant & bracelet also make it a perfect go everywhere watch. (300m would be nice but ....)

I have never seen that model. Very nice. I will have to look into another watch now. Thanks for sharing.

I have a few (more than I realised ) ignoring the digitals with dual/multiple timezones:
Enicar Sherpa Jet; Enicar Jet Graph; Omega Flightmaster; Omega Seamaster 2234.50 and 2538.20; Panerai 98; Rolex GMTIIc.

I don't think I own a GMT at the moment.
    Now I need one!!!

This Citizen was a daily wearer for a few weeks

But this lesser seen Cartier Pasha GMT was an absolute dream! It was the first thing to go when the company I worked for went under and I think the first watch I ever listed on here.

    My GMT watches

I like GMT watches, even if I do not need the second timezone that often, it's nice to have a few in the collection. I've had more, but these are the ones i kept so far.

    That Chopard is stunning, S.L.!!!

None at present for me, although there's plenty of inspiration in this thread!

The Sinn 857UTC is long gone, but I'd seriously consider another - lovely watch:

Also enjoyed the Explorer II but in the end the tiny crown and I fell out, no chance of a reconciliation:

    Cheers,

    Rob

Hmmm, is that a GMT or just 24 hour markings on the dial? Because it should be disqualified if the latter

But the 12 hr bezel creates an ersatz GMT. I always loved that approach, a poor man's solution to tracking a second time zone.

That's right. The bezel is bi-directional. Simple and efficient, it works!

None currently - But I need one in the next month ...

unfortunately many of the available models have either useless WR or a cyclops and so are out of the running.

    none. yet...
I work abroad and often change time zones so I should have one, but I can't decide which. Quite tempted by a Nomos Zürich Weltzeit but this thread is giving lots of fresh inspiration.

Thanks mate. It's an Airman SST 06 "purist" version, meaning it's true 24h watch, like my Airman Special II.

I have 2, one cheap and one not so much. Even though the police is a fashion watch, i think it is ace looking and it was the one i wore when i got married.

I have another sort of GMT, that works in Dehli with the 5.5hr difference (it doesn't synch too well in India though).

Only one GMT for me at the minute.

  41. #91
I have one - a JLC La Squadra - but I tend to keep the 2nd hour hand tucked under the main one unless I am travelling somewhere far-flung or expecting a call from the US

    1675

That's a truly beautiful 1675. But they are not "real" GMTs, since the red hand only indicates the same hour as the small hand, only indicating day or night.

Trouble is, "GMTs" doesn't look right. Anyway, I know this is a forum where the odd grammatical/spelling mistake is very unlikely to be spotted by anybody

    GMT's

Not a single GMT yet, unfortunately. A tired, old GMT Master II is on the list, but who knows when that'll happen. Beautiful complication on an amazing watch, even though I probably wouldn't have much use for it now.
