How about the Tissot Navigator equipped with the Lemania cal. 1343?
I'm not entirely sure what the production numbers were for these were but they're rare in that the cal. 1343 was never used in any other watch before or since, making it a unique piece. TTBOMK Tissot only did two variants of these lovely watches, one black dial and one a creamy silver.
Here's my two examples.
So maybe not numerically rare but certainly a bit of horological history.

Thanks. I bought the black example of a good friend and then became a bit obsessed (as you do) with getting it's silver dialled twin. It took over two years to find one in equally good condition but I got there in the end.

Already mentioned (albeit in a different colour), but this is obviously 1 of 50
And a rarer Dornbluth than the 99.1, I give you my 99.4 which was 1 of 78 at the time, and I'd guess the numbers are still in double figures.
Plus, since mine has a custom dial and movement, it brings the rarity value down further to 1 of well, 1.

I've always been curious about it, it say English Made on the dial and 19 Jewels Barkers Wigan on the movement
Its London Assay office dating to 1931 and the case makers marks are R&S : Rotherham & Sons Coventry?

Heuer Super Professional complete box set with original straps, dive chart and strap changing tool. Blue dive pouch is so rare, I have yet to see another one.
Heuer Titanium Automatic Chronograph from 1983. It only took me 15 years to track this watch down and it's in brand new mint condition...

I used to own your old Heuer as well. Two 'Heuer' dialed Super Pro's was just greedy though.

The Aerospace Aluminium UTS is a wonderful watch . Incredibly light and the colour is a wonderful Blue Grey .. looking almost black at times but much lighter at others .

It's a great watch with real wrist presence and I love mine, I'm still looking for a bracelet though and have it on a Tropic which it also suits.

Here's my limited edition 18k Eterna 1856. It's #15 of I don't know how many, but I haven't encountered another one "in the wild" yet.
If someone could give me more info about the watch in general or what the movement is, it would be highly appreciated.
Some thing you don't see every day a real Omega SHOM from 1978 with movement and case that started together at the Factory all original even the bracelet I guess you can say this is rare.

Not a rare watch in itself, but only 50 in this configuration...
...though only around 35 were made in stainless. The rest were DLC.

Then this vintage Zodiac... There are quite few black faced ones, some lume dials, but I don't remember seing another one of these with grey dial.
Few of Casio MR-G collection. All of them quite rare and difficult to find, especially in good condition. I sold them, still regretting some of them. Not to everyones liking though.
Because Rado were truly awful at keeping records of their watches (some statistics are known, others not), we don't know how many watches they made using mineral dials. They used Lapis Lazuli and Tiger Eye mainly, but also some other gemstone dials exist.
This is the only Lapis Lazuli dial NCC 303 I have ever seen. I sold it a while back to another Rado collector - I am led to believe the dial has since cracked and broken so not only was it very rare, it now longer exists!

Orsa Sea Viper 38/50 in this dial configuration, I believe only 250 made in all colours.
Benarus Moray BRG 07/50 in this colour.

Re C-shaped and cushion cases in general, I’ve found myself liking them more and more recently.
