    This from this thread;

(Picture doesn't do it justice - highlights on the batons are red and the dial sort-of colour shifts from gold to brown depending on the viewing angle)

I am beginning to suspect from the lack of information returned by Google that it may be the only one ever made!

It is currently awaiting the attentions of our own WebWatchmaker who is servicing it, re-attaching the dial furniture and replacing the crystal so that the dial can actually be seen ;)

Thought I would give it a quick google but see you have been there before me. Your WUS thread came up first in the search!

I see someone has already shown a Sothis - here's mine.

Not uber-rare, but very limited production numbers (500) and a beautiful hand-made German watch:

You also don't see many of these about - Martin Braun Selene Meteorite - this is just No.3 of a very limited run, and one of my favourite pieces:

First. Congratulations on getting that! The BeBa Precision watch is in the top 3 on the list of watches I would like to have. I'm deeply envious. It is an exceedingly well executed watch. The movement is really wonderful, while the case/dial/hands are all very good. I think that it all fits together really well. I hope that you enjoy wearing it.

Second. Here's a relatively rare one. Longines 12.68N Movement (from Foggy).

1952 Omega RAF case, home made dial and goat skin "NATO" (from Pottinger).

    Best wishes,
    Bob

    There's rare and there's rare.

While not to most tastes, here is a rare think the earth (northern hemisphere) wn-1 watch. Note that it has the mother of all domed crystals. For reasons I cannot quite explain, I wear it once or twice a year when clearing snow from the front yard.

I did a bit of digging and spoke to Fred Dingemans myself by email...

Prices are not appalling, starting at 1900euro - there is however currently a 45 month wait! To get on the waiting list a small deposit is required, I'm thinking about it, the watches are nice... But I've no idea what my watch taste will be in six months, (based on how it's shifted in the past six) let alone in over three years. :(

I've got a few limited editions, but this is one of one, the Glycine Combat Sub In2Watches Special Prototype.
It's nearly identical to the finished (limited edition) In2Watches Special, except that the whole bezel is rose gold PVD coated.
I know Gerard has sold a few of the specials, but I doubt it's into triple figures.
I love having a one off!

WOW, all I can say is WOW.

Firstly, I'm Hungarian so this bears some interest to me more then it does to the majority of the forum, I guess. Secondly, the fact that the Hungarian Air Force issued these makes it even more interesting (I think it really need to explanation why most of the vintages you can find here are cheap Russian watches), this really is coming from the good old days, before...well,you know what happened.

I'd love to read a bit more about it, if you have done a write-up about the watch perhaps.

The picture is not too shabby either. Theoretically speaking :)

Sorry for the crap photo. One of eight made for Asprey's boutique in London. It's steel, the blue dials were usually reserved for the WG pieces.

There are some, aren't there. Still, on my view, nothing yet tops Corporalsparrow's Be-Ba Precision. :)

It occurs to me, looking at that photo with its gold tint, that the PRS-20 would look very good indeed made in gold (or gold plate)! Same as the PRS-50-B.

This thread is amazing! So many watches I have never seen before and some I could only dream of! Wow! Some serious timepieces on this forum!!!

My humble contribution of the rarest in my collection...

Enzo Mechana V001 Sub Hatch. The only one I have ever seen with this exact configuration, then I had the watch bead-blasted.

G.Gerlach FOKA, 054 of 111 watch made for the Polish Chinesewatchforum. Only 6 sold outside of Poland.

Glycine Airman Special II, 098 of 100

Premetheus Manta Ray Oceanic time LE, 25 of 25, DLC'd Titanium case

Revue Thommen Professional Pilot pointer date with chronograph, I don't know how many were made, but it's a limited run and we do not see them to often

Not that rare with 999 watch made, but rarely seen. Ruhla Kampfschwimmer Homage
