Got the Big Orange to go with my Big Yellow

Finally!! Been waiting on this one for a while. Love the heft of the orient and I have had the yellow dial version for a while. Always wanted the orange dial version and finally got it. It's a very deep orange. The OEM bracelet did not sit very well on my wrist. Had a 22mm black Delaurian that I strapped it on to and that was perfect. Looks like a match made in heaven

I have the yellow as well. The dial and bezel are just incredible. Shame it's so heavy and big though (for my 6.75 inch wrist). Despite the complaints, I still would like to get the new white dialed model.
Here it is compared to the much smaller mm300:

Very nice Sunny. It looks good on the leather as well. Any idea why the yellow is labeled Orient Star and the orange is just Orient?
    Cheers,
    Si.

I think I have an answer to that one Si. Apparently (according to a thread on another forum) the watches are identical but US market ones are called Orient and Japanese market ones are called Orient Star.

So it's a branding device. No idea why, though.

Is Orient a Japanese or Chinese brand, or are they a mixture of components from both countrys.

Orient are owned by Seiko, but like manufacter watches in various coutries I believe.
